I couldn't see you anymore,
I gave up and closed my eyes,
I felt my soul come out of my body,
It went on a trip,
Visiting the stars,
Visiting the clouds,
Watching cartoons,
We swam in the ocean,
Made fish friends,
And came home,
Eyes open,
It's all in my head,
You never left.

17th Street.
PoetryThese are short poems I wrote throughout my 17th street of life and it was the only way I deemed fit for me to heal and ascend out of all the love and heartbreak and loss I've had to deal with. I wrote them in hopes that one day I'd get to look back...
the visit.
I couldn't see you anymore,
I gave up and closed my eyes,
I felt my soul come out of my body,
It went on a trip,
Visiting the stars,
Visiting the clouds,
Watching cartoons,
We swam in the ocean,
Made fish friends,
And came home,
Eyes open,
It's all in my head,
You never left.
