The Other Gilmore Girl (book two)

Part 28

It was now the first week of classes and it was shopping week. I had signed up to a couple of classes I thought seemed cool but right now I was just in the common room. The suite was empty other then that because the others all had classes. I then heard the door open and look up to see my grandma with a tape measure.

"Grandma? What are you doing?" Her eyes widen, "I thought you would be in classes. Oh well, I guess it will have to not be a surprise. I have decided to redo you common room. Now I have some ideas--" I stop her, "wait, why not tell me when the rest of my suitemates are here. I mean all of us were thinking about doing it anyway and this why we have an experts opinion." She smiles, "well that sounds like an amazing idea. I also hope you plan on coming round on Friday night for dinner. I missed you at the last one."

I smile, "sure, I guess I'll be there. Normal time?" She nods, "yes, normal time." Just then the rest of my suitemates walked in laughing and then they saw my grandma. Lucy smiles, "hey, Christina who's the guest with the killer shoes." I laugh, "this is my grandma, she wanted to help decorate the common room." Olivia offers her hand and grandma takes it, "hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Olivia and this is Lucy, I'm guessing you already know Rachel." Grandma smiles, "I do, it's nice to meet you girls and to see you again Rachel. Now should we get started." She then pulls different swatches from her handbag.

After awhile we finally picked everything out and grandma said when we come back from class it would all be done. I had dance class next and see Noah, "Hey happy feet. I feel like I've barely seen you since we got here." He nods and we start to stretch, "I know, I've mostly been in my suite it get to know my suitemates. So I was told by Logan that him and the rest for the brigade will be at the party on your floor." I nod, "yeah, I heard about that. I can't wait for my first collage party, I can't pick what to wear I think I might just ask Rachel for help."

He nods and when our teacher walks in we start the lesson with a few basic and hard moves to see where we are in our skill level. After lesson I went back to my suite to sleep because I feel like I might collapse. When I walk in I see grandma didn't lie and the common room looks completely different. The others were all watching TV and I send them a small smile before walking into my room and going to sleep. (Common room above.)

It's the next night and finally the open door party. We decided to open the door and blast out music and stock up on beer, well Olivia and Lucy got it I just decided not to ask how. (Outfit above.) The boys just arrived and I was dancing with Logan. I then heard a scoff from behind I turn around and see Camron, "hey Cam, wanna join us?" He shakes his head, "No, I wouldn't want to be a third wheel." I frown, "what do you mean, if anything that would be Logan. I mean you are my boyfriend." He shakes his head, "you and me both know that's not true."

I let out a small laugh, "what are you talking about? Your my boyfriend, Logan is one of my best friends." Camron looks at the two of us and says, "Can I please talk to you alone about this. I came here to tell you something." I was gonna protest and say you can say it in front of Logan but Logan jumped in, "I'll leave you two alone, catch you later Queenie." I nod and he goes over to Colin.

Me and Camron go into my room and we sit on my bed, "Camron, what's your problem tonight. This is our first collage party, it's meant to be fun." He sighs, "well I'm sorry I can't have fun when my girlfriend is in love with someone else." I scoff, "what are you talking about?" He stands up, "I'm talking about Logan. I saw the way you looked at him at your graduation. I brushed it thinking I was being paranoid then tonight I see it again. Just be honest, do you like him?"

I look down at my hands, "maybe, I don't know. Before he left for Yale we had just started to maybe see each other that way. Then when he left I told him to move on and live his life, I didn't want him to wait for me. Then I met you, and I completely forgot about Logan. You make me feel special, like I'm the only girls in the world for you." He nods, "but I'm not the only guy in the world for you. It's not fair to date if you like someone else. I think we should take break, just call me when you sort out your feelings out. I won't wait forever Sandy." He kisses my forehead and leaves.

I decided not to go back out and just to go to sleep. Why do emotions have to be so complicated, I like Camron so much, but a part of me will always like Logan even if we never even dated. I hate myself for it, I want to be able to tell Camron he is the only one for me I just don't think I can.
