I was officially back home and we had just all got back from Friday night dinner. We told grandma and grandpa about the both of us choosing Yale. I have never seen them both smile so much. They looked so proud. I smile, "well I don't know about you guys but I think I'm gonna go up to bed." Mom shakes her head, "you mean your gonna call Camron and be all cute." I roll my eyes, "yeah, yeah. Whatever." Rory laughs at the two of us, "night." I smile, "night."

I run up to my room and before I can ring Camron my phone starts to ring, "hello?" I hear a small laugh on the other line, "hi, it's me Jay. You haven't called me or I you since I came to your town." My eyes widen, "You see Jay the thing is--" He cuts me off, "no me first, please. I haven't called you because, I'm seeing someone else. I should have told you." I smile, "I have been seeing someone else too. I was actually about to call him." There's a pause before he says, "yeah of course you have. Good night." "Night."

I hang up the phone and ring Camron, "hey, Cam. So I just had a very interesting phone call." He laughs, "oh please do tell." I then start to explain, "so I had gone out on one date with this guy, and then I met you and we just stopped talking. I mean before the date we talked on the phone about our week. Anyway, he just called me to say sorry he hadn't called and that he was seeing someone else. I then told him was as well and then he just said night."

I lay down on my bed as he says, "yeah, well. What can I say? How many boys have I got to keep a watch out for?" I laugh, "none, I swear. Hold on, you sound jealous." He sighs, "how can I not be? I mean you must have guys dropping at your feet." I laugh, "No way. That's only once a year, but they seemed not to do it this year thank God they moved on." He laughs along, "I so do not wanna know. Now tell me all about Friday night dinner."

It's now Monday and me and Rachel were in class, "hey, Tina? Do you know what happened to Paris's nose." I laugh and say, "she got it pierced, then her whole nose just swelled up after an hour. So you did get into Yale, right?" She smirks, "duh, God I hope we share a room, or that I get one to myself. I cannot imagine having to share with a stranger." I nod and then my phone starts to ring, "hold on. Hello?" I hear a sigh, "hey sugar, it's Babette. You know you left me in charge of picking up the decorations for you mom's birthday." I sit down, "yes I do." "well, they sent us the wrong stuff. It's all cotton and lace tablecloths." I huff, "I'll sort it after school." "okay, have a good day sugar."

After school Rory went to get the drinks and I went to Miss Patty's and see the boxes of tablecloth, "guys, did you call the company." Miss Patty sighs, "we tried, they just said 'we get, what we get.'" I shake my head, "no we get what we ordered. Show me the number." Babette hands it to me, "here ya go sugar." I dial the number, "hey, my names Christina Gilmore. You see you gave us cotton white and lace tablecloths." They guys sighs, "I thought we already addressed this, dude. You get, what you get."

I scoff, "no. We get, what we ordered! Or we don't pay sunshine. I want my bright pink tablecloths at the address you were given by tonight! You got that!" I here a gulp on the other side, "yes ma'am." I hang up, "be here when it comes, and make sure it's the right ones this time." Babette nods, "you got sugar."

It was Friday night and Rory goes to check on the pizza and I go to check the decorations, I smile when I see the right tablecloths set up. I then look at the purple zebra print birthday banner. Then my smile drops when I see some of the helper hanging the fairy light, "oi! Why are you hanging them lights! They are meant to trickle not hang, make them trickle now!" They restart and I sigh and leave muttering, "can no one do anything right."

I got home and ready for Friday night dinner. (Outfit above.) The dinner was nice so far, we are now sitting the living room waiting for the maid to bring out the cake. We sit down and grandpa asks, "champagne?" Mom jokes, "trying to get me drunk so I forget that you wouldn't let me blow out my own candles?" Grandma sighs, "oh, dear. Is this going to be another one of those stories like the bunny story?" They then start to talk about a bunny mom had when she was four, they gave it away.

It was all going good until mom handed grandma the check to pay back for Chilton. Then they both went upstairs and we stayed for a while to eat the cake. On the way back Rory tried to make mom feel bad and mom deafened herself and Rory ended up agreeing with her. I just didn't talk, not wanting a fight to break out. I think mom did the right thing. We got to the party and we had the best time, and eat from a giant pizza.

A/N: Hey guys so I guess this was kind of a filler chapter but I hope you liked it anyway.
