Chapter 10 : Going In

"Hide for now, we'll think of something", sabi ni Quiver as I linked him in. Napasabunot na lamang siya sa kanyang ulo in frustration. "Call a meeting", utos nito kay Tyson at saka sila patakbong umalis. Sumunod naman kami nina Cynthia at Graham sa kanilang dalawa.

Tyson rang the bell as soon as we reached it. With all my might, I sent a telephatic message to all of the children in here. Wala pang ten minutes ay nakumpleto na kaagad kami.

"Lionel and Inoichi had met a misfortunate event today", panimula ni Quiver and everyone around gasped in shock. Napuno ng bulungan ang meeting place pero agad naman silang kinalma ni Tyson.

"I hate to say this, pero someone has to fetch them inside the maze", suhestiyon ni Tyson at napatingin naman sa kanya si Quiver. "What?! No?! We can't risk anyone anymore!", kontra ni niya. "Pero hindi natin nila pwedeng iwanan sa loob ng maze, lalo na't nabalian ng braso si Inoichi and needs medical attention immediately", mariing giit ni Tyson.

Sandali silang nagkasukatan ng tingin, but Quiver surrendered afterwards. "Alright, I'll go--",

"No, I WILL GO!", may paninindigang sabi ni Cynthia na ikinagulat naman nilang lahat. "Pero kakadating mo lang dito, hindi mo pa alam ang tungkol sa--",

"I can navigate inside the maze para matunton silang dalawa ng mabilis with the help of my eye", putol ni Cynthia sa sinasabi ni Quiver. May isa ring nagtaas ng kamay mula sa kumpol ng tao at tumayo rin siya. "I'll go in, too," pagboboluntaryo ni Angelo. "If he needs medical attention right away, then ako ang kailangan niyo para sa ganoong trabaho."

"You two sure about this?", muling pagklaklaro ni Quiver. Tumango naman ang dalawa. I want to help to kaya nagtaas din ako ng kamay. "I think I'll go in. I can communicate with them and to you in case something happens", sabi ko. Actually, kinakabahan ako sa desisyon kong ito, pero kailangan kami ngayon nina Inoichi at Lionel kaya hindi ito ang oras para mag-alinlangan.

"It's settled then", Quiver said then sighed. "The meeting is dismissed", he said and everyone else went back to their usual routines, well except for two people na tinawag ko. "Yin! Yang!"

Nilingon ako ng kambal as I called their names. "I need your help", I pleaded. "With what?", sabay nilang tanong. "I was hoping I can use your minds to communicate with, if that's okay", pakiusap ko.

"It's fine with us", sabay ulit nilang wika and they left us. "Now, let's get you three ready", sabi ni Graham pero hinawakan siya ni Angelo sa manggas. "Pwedeng pakidala na lang ng gagamitin ko sa clinic? Ihahanda ko kasi 'yung gagamitin ko para gamutin si Inoichi", he pleaded. Tumango naman si Graham at agad na umalis si Angelo.

We headed to the training course of Lionel and Inoichi just behind their unit. May tiningnan siya sa mga dummies na nandoon at may parang pinindot. Nakaramdam kami ng mahinang pagyanig ng lupa at may bumukas na hatch malapit sa training course.

"Jump!", sabi ni Graham at tumalon sa hatch. Agad naman kaming sumunod sa kanya. Madilim sa loob pero agad din nagliwanag matapos i-on ni Graham ang ilaw. Nilibot ko ang paligid ko at I was amazed. Weapons of all kind were present here! From knives, guns, bullets, and many more! "Welcome to my personal collection of weapons. All made by me", proud na sabi ni Graham. This geek is incredible!
