Pokemon: Nothing to lose, Everything to gain

Suddenly the gusts of wind start to blow harder, as if a gale had formed inside of Ash's dorm itself, so strong that Ash had to put his hand on top of his face. But soon he removed when he saw the figure who was forming within the wind. The figure had a light-pink dress on top of a black tank top. The dress is tied at the collar with a blue ribbon and over the dress there is a long red vest. She also had a pink fedora on her head with a black hatband. And to top it all of, her cerulean blue eyes and honey-blonde eyes dominated the rest.

The wind had died down and left Ash speechless, right in front of him, there was the girl he had been dearly wishing to meet again for so long. For standing right in front of him, was Serena Yvonne.

Serena: A-Ash?

Serena was interrupted by Ash embracing him tightly. Serena blushed bright red.
Serena: Ash?
Ash: Why did you have to do that?
Serena: Do what?
Ash: Take your life for me. Tell me! WHY!
Serena:.......
Ash: You have no idea how much I missed you
Serena: You missed me?
Ash: Of course, why wouldn't I
Serena: Can you please let go. I can't breathe
Ash: Oh sorry

Ash realises he had hugged Serena tightly and starts to blush
Ash: Sorry about that
Serena: No worries Ash. I liked it
Ash: You did.
Suddenly it struck Ash
Ash: How are you here?
Serena: I don't really know myself
Ash: But then-
Zygarde Core: I know the answer
(Can I just call it Squishy. It feels easier to)
Ash: Huh!

Ash turns around to see the two Zygarde Cores on his window. In doing so, he unconsciencely links his hand with Serena's, unknown to the knowledge of both teens
Ash: Zygarde!
Squishy: Hello, Ash
Ash: But..how..is Serena still here
Squishy: let's just say Xerneas isn't too pleased
Serena: How did you convince Xerneas?
Squishy: Let's not go into details

Ash: One question. how do we convince everyone how Serena came back? I mean, if they learn that Xerneas saved her, they would search for Xerneas to save others as well
Squishy: That's why I said Xerneas wasn't too pleased. But, I made a countermeasure to that as well. I asked for Yveltal's assistance to remove the memory of Serena dying from everyone else other than you. I must ask you to keep it a secret
Serena: Don't worry Zygarde

Ash: You went through all that trouble to revive Serena.....thank you. Thank you more than I can ever say. I am indebted to you
Squishy: You don't need to say. The one who is indebted is me. 
Squishy: I am sorry Ash
Ash: For what
Squishy: I could not save the others..it had already been too late to revive their souls. If I had been much later in arriving, it would have been too late for Serena as well

This statement had been followed by a momentary silence in the room until it was broken
Ash: Thank you Zygarde
Squishy: Remember this Ash, if you are ever in any need, I'll be there. Just mention that you need assistance and I will be immediately there

The two cores notice Ash and Serena's joined hands

Squishy: I think we are interrupting something between the two of you. We had better be going.
Ash and Serena see that they were holding eachother's hands and blush bright red, but it felt nice so they kept holding it
Serena: It's not what it looks like
Squishy: Alright, keep telling yourself that. Farewell, Ash
Ash: Bye, Zygarde

Ash and Serena are left alone in the room
Ash: So, what now?
Serena: I don't know. Don't you want to know the answer to the last thing you told me that day
Ash: Oh-Oh that one
Suddenly Ash gets really nervous and goes red.
Ash: I understand if you don't feel the same way and want to hate me forever. I mean, how can someone so amazing as you even have a chance of-
Ash was cut off by a kiss on his cheeks from Serena.
Serena: I love you too
Ash: You do?
Serena: Yes
Ash hugs Serena at full force and this time Serena hugged him back. They stayed like this for a couple of minutes until Ash again, broke the silence

Ash: So want to hang out around Lumiose City.
Serena: Ash Kechum are you asking me out on a date
Ash: Maybe yes, maybe no
Serena: Well, in that case, let's go

1 year later

Ash: Greninja use Water Shuriken
Diantha: Gardevoir use Moonblast
Water Shuriken overpowers Moonblast and strikes down the fatigued Gardevoir
Announcer: WITH THAT, WE HAVE A NEW KALOS CHAMPION. GIVE IT UP TO THE HERO OF KALOS, ASH KECHUM!
Diantha: Well played Ash. Congradulations, Ash. I don't think anyone here is as worthy of deserving the title of Kalos Champion as you, Ash
Ash: Thank you Diantha. But the credit does not go to me. It goes to all of my pokemon. As well as a certain person who had helped me so much in the last year.
Ash had said all this while looking straight at a certain honey-blonde in the stands, who couldn't help but blush
Diantha: Even so, you are truly worthy of this title. GIVE IT UP TO THE NEW KALOS CHAMPION

Ash: Phew, I made it
Serena: Ash Kechum, you are 12 seconds late for our date
Ash: Sorry
Ash says while sweat-dropping
Serena: So, where would my Kalos champion like to go today
Ash: Anywhere the Kalos Queen would
Serena blushes
Ash: Right, let's go have a meal first
Serena rolls her eyes
Serena: Of course you would say that
The two link their arms and walk down the streets of Lumiose

In Ash's mind
A lot has changed in the past year. With the help of Serena, I have worked my way up to Kalos Champion. I honestly cannot thank her enough for all that. She is quite literally the best girlfriend I could've asked for. She had also found herself a goal, the Pokemon performances and aiming to be a Kalos Queen. Even though she had come just short of becoming Kalos Queen, I could not be more proud.
Best thing has to be that Grace approves of us dating. She even gave me accomodation during summer and winter breaks. Spending time with Serena was awesome (Writer's note: NO DIRTY THOUGHTS). All in all, the time I have spent with her has been amazing and I would not replace it for anything. The old drivel people often say, are true after all. One thing in the world that will never end is hope. No matter what, there will always be hope left in the world. When you have nothing to lose, you have to remember that you still have everything to gain.
