Elaine opened her eyes at the sound of little murmurs, she was shocked to see Tom beside her and details of last night flashed in her mind. She gulped as she watched him sleep, he looks so handsome and not only that, his personality is amazing. He is caring, a good listener, loving, so why won't she fall for him? Why won't he claim her heart?

Her fingertips traced his flawless face, so handsome. Her eyes trailed down his body, his broad chest, his biceps, his muscular torso, his strong and long legs. He strong arms she could depend on to catch her if she falls. Just why is he not hers? Why didn't he meet her first before anybody? She shook away the thoughts, no negative thinking. What they had last night was amazing and she can't wait for him to wake up and look at her with his midnight blue eyes, the eyes that seems to captivate her very soul. She knew he feels something for her with the way he handled her last night, she just have to wait for him to tell her so.

What if he has a wife? And a child? Her mind asked her again like it has been doing for the past two weeks, what if he has a lover? A fiancée? What if she is searching for him? She closed her eyes once more as reality set in. She can't have him, not unless he recovers his memories now and tell her he has no one, if not she will never be at peace. She will always be at tenterhooks that he will abandon her for his true love once he remembers her. Whatever he feels for her now is understandable, after all they have been living together for three months now so why won't feelings develop?

She laid with her back on the bed and stared at the ceiling, her thoughts running wild. Where does she stand with him? Will she be the one with him now that he is amnesic and will be abandoned once his memories returns? It hurts to think of herself like that but that's the simple truth. A tear slipped from the corner of her eye, why is it that she is never successful in love? She heaved a sigh and tried to be silent so as not to wake him up. She glanced at him as he sleeps peacefully, looking so heavenly.

A murmur left his mouth and she strained her ear to hear what he was saying. He doesn't have his nightmares as often as before but once in a while he talks in his sleep. Dr Paige had said that he will be remembering things in his unconscious state. But then, once after his dreams, he won't remember anything when he wakes up. She placed her ear close to his mouth to hear him. 'Angel, my little one, don't cry, I'm safe, I will be back soon little one, I will be back."

Elaine covered her mouth with her hand to silence her cry, he has a daughter, he has a daughter! She looked at him, a smile was playing on his lips. What is he dreaming about? He must be playing with his daughter, maybe in the garden in his home. She pictured a beautiful woman watching them from the window of a beautiful house with a smile on her lips. That's what she would do too.

Tom was still murmuring '​​​​don't worry my little one' as he slept, Elaine couldn't take it anymore. She got out of the bed, dressed up and left the house. Her heart has been right all along, he has a wife and a daughter, her name is Angel, such beautiful name. She bet she will have his black hair and his midnight blue eyes, even possible, his smile and his nice set of teeth. She wonders how old she will be, maybe four or five. Heaven! She made love with a married man last night and what's worse? She is deeply in love with him. Isn't her case critical? She ran as the tears cascaded down her face. She ran to the lake and fell on the sand, bawling her eyes out. Why didn't she listen to her mind? Why did she let her heart get the best of her?

He is a married man for Christ sake! Tom is married with a child and she? She is just a crazily in love little girl who is about to ruin a happy home. No, she won't do that. She can't ruin his home because she helped him. Yes, she is madly in love with him but she will not, she will never ruin his home. From now henceforth, she will not let her feelings control her and she will avoid him as much as possible. Oh God, she hopes he recovers his memories as soon as possible so that he will leave and she can tend to her broken heart.
