Chapter 22: What happens next?

Later in team CABN's dorm, they were just chilling.

Alex: Oh fuck, we forgot to ask them about their semblance?

Cameron: Just text them

Alex: Forgot about that.

Alex went ahead and texted Ayano.

Brandon: I'm gonna open the window, its a bit stuffy in here.

Suddenly they hear screaming from what sounds like team RWBY's room.

Alex: I'm gonna check it out.

Cameron: Alright.

Alex went out the dorm to knock-on the door.

Alex: You girls alright?

Ruby then opens the door.

Ruby: Yeah, (gasp) I left my board game at the library!

Weiss: (Places her hand to her head) We're doomed.

Ruby rushes out the room shoving Alex aside and bumps into someone knocking herself down.

Ruby: Sorry. Are you okay?

Girl: I'm fine.

Alex's eyes started to widen but he tried to regain his composure but he was visibly turning pale.

Emerald: Just watch where you're going.

Emerald offers her hand to help Ruby off her feet

Ruby: Um, I'm Ruby! Are you new?

Cinder: Visiting from Haven, actually.

Ruby: Ooh! You're here for the festival! But exchange students have their own dormitory.

Mercury: I guess we just got turned around.

Ruby: Hey, don't worry, it happens all the time. Uh, your building is just east of here.

Cinder: Thanks. (Cinder walks past Ruby, gesturing in acknowledgment.) Maybe we'll see you around. You should probably take your friend to the doctor too.

As they walked past Alex, his blood turned cold from fear.

After they left the hallway Ruby saw Alex was shaking.

Ruby: You okay? you look like you've seen a ghost.

Alex: I'm- I'm fine, I'm gonna go now, see ya.

Alex rushed back to his room accidentally slamming the door.

Brandon: You good?

Alex: Cinder is here.

Cameron got up from his bed in shock.

Cameron: What?!

Brandon: Cinder?

Alex: Remember that girl we were shooting at when we first got here.

Nathan: So that was her.

Alex: She also was responsible for The Fall Of Beacon.

Again, shivers ran threw everyone's spine.

Brandon: You still didn't explain what the fall beacon was.

Alex: Cameron?

Cameron: The Fall Of Beacon happens in the third volume. Grimm swarm the area and robots that were supposed to protect the civilians are hacked and attack alongside them. It's basically a slaughter.

Brandon: So a terrorist attack?

Cameron: Yeah.

Nathan: Can we stop it?
