Chapter 14: Dad?!

On a Friday afternoon we see the four idiots arriving on the streets of vale.

Alex: Do you guys see them?

Cameron: No.

Alex: They should be here.

Nathan: Couldn't we just call them?

Alex: What's the fun in that?

Brandon: I see them.

Brandon points to the direction of team RWBY.

Alex: Yo.

Ruby: Hey guys.

Yang: Sup.

Weiss: Why did we have to bring them?

Blake: It was a bet.

Yang: At least it wasn't a date but I wouldn't mind.

Blake: But most of us would.

Weiss: Yeah, right Ruby.

They all turned to Ruby who was daydreaming.

Ruby: (under her breath) A day with Alex.

Yang: Ruby to Remenant, you there?

Ruby: oh hehe I was thinking about something.

Yang proceeds to put Ruby into a choke hold.

Yang: Oh What were you thinking of, was the bet making you that flustered~?

Alex: Weren't you the person who didn't let us even train alone?

Yang: I can make fun of my sister but you're still not going to be alone with her.

Alex: Riiight.

Weiss: Can we go now?

Nathan: Yeah, I'm getting tired of standing here.

Yang: Fine.

Finally both teams started walking on the streets to see a sign being hung up.

Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out...

Weiss: How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Yang: You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.

Alex: I'm just glad we're almost out of the first volume.

Cameron elbowed Alex.

Alex: Ow.

Finally after some time they arrived at the docks.

Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?

Ruby: Ugh, they smell like fish!

Brandon: I mean, it's the docks.

Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo and Haven will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!

Blake: She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.

Cameron: Understandable.

Weiss: You can't prove that!
