Today Taehyung had an appointment to check on the baby, when they arrived Dr. Goo greeted them like usual, making sure that the couple was okay. Taehyung laid on the bed and lifted up his shirt, Dr. Goo commencing the usual process.
The ultrasound was going just fine until Dr. Goo made a sound of confusion, the couple looked at her with worry in their eyes.
"What happened?" Taehyung asked.
"Is everything okay?" Jeongguk said as he looked at the monitor.
"I might've just found something.." Dr. Goo said before moving the transducer around on the younger's stomach. "Ahah, there it is." She said as she found what she was looking for.
"What is it?" The ravenette asked.
"Well, you see this little mass right here?" Dr. Good said, pointing at a little mass next to the baby.
"Ye- is that..." Taehyung said once he realized what the mass was.
"Yes, Taehyung it's another baby." Dr. Goo said with a smile.
"But shouldn't we have been able to tell there was another from earlier on." Jeongguk asked while Taehyung was frozen in shock.
"Well, actually it's quite possible to be pregnant with twins and not know. I've had a couple of patients that have experienced the same thing." The doctor explained.
"How.." Taehyung said, coming out of shock.
"Well, when we did the heartbeat check a little while back their heartbeats must've been synchronized meaning that we didn't hear the second one. Also, baby B is relatively smaller than baby A which caused them to be covered by the other." Dr. Goo said, the couple listening to everything she said.
"Are they healthy?" Jeongguk asked.
"Absolutely, just a little on the tiny side." She said smiling brightly. The three talked for a little more until cleaning off the younger's belly and sending them on their way.
Once they left the office and started driving home, Taehyung called Majeah to tell Jett the news. As soon as he told her she burst out laughing.
"It's not funny Maj." Taehyung said his face blank and voice monotone.
"It really is though. I told you it was going to happen." She said.
"You know what, leave me alone." The older said pouting.
"Oh shut up, you should be blaming bunny boy and his Olympic swimmers." Majeah said laughing, causing Taehyyung to laugh with her.
"Y'know what? Goodbye." He said, the two saying goodbye before hanging up.
Taehyung just shook his head with a smile on his face, Majeah was a little crazy but would always be like a sister to him.
