It was the day of the award show and everyone was rather excited, Yoongi was still pretty nervous about the whole water breaking thing though. The group went together, leaving the kids with Monay since she constantly asked to watch them. They all rode in a limo together to the award she, everyone all dressed in outfits that coordinated with each other's.
As they walked down the red carpet paparazzi and photographers flashed photos of them from all angles, everyone waving and smiling. As Yoongi walked, holding Hoseok's hand confidently, the thought of his water breaking on stage still made him worry.
Once they all got into the venue, everyone went to their reserved seats and talked amongst themselves as they waited for the show to start. Twice, Dean, Seulgi and Chungha were set to perform and many of them were set to present awards.
"Hey everyone!" Wooyoung said as he and the boys started to approach them.
"Hi Woo! Hi guys!" Majeah said before anyone else could.
"You guys are performing right?" Hoseok asked, faintly remembering reading ATEEZ's name on the list.
"Yeah, I'm excited as hell." Hongjoong smiled, just then the announcement said that the show was beginning in about 5 minutes.
"Good luck boys." Everyone said.
"Good luck to you guys too." The boys said before walking to their seats. The show had started and went well, Twice had performed Feel Special, Yoongi had won album of the year and ATEEZ had performed not too long ago, now it was time for Seulgi and Chunga to perform their joint comeback 'Crown'.
The two had gotten on stage and their performance sent shivers down everyone's spines and the fans were cheering loudly. The performance was coming to an end and everyone in the theater was at the edge of their seats as Seulgi ran her hand down Chungha's face and pulled her in for a kiss as the lights turned from gold to a deep red color, the fans went wild and even their own friends were in shock.
"Did you know they were gonna-" Taehyung started.
"Hell no." Majeah said, eyes still stuck on the now empty stage.
"Oh my god, that was hot." Yoongi said as he got up, getting ready to go backstage.
"I'm so happy for them." Jin smiled.
"I wanna get kissed like that." Taehyung said.
"That's how you got pregnant in the first place." Hoseok snickered.
"I- you right." The younger sighed. A few moments had passed and Yoongi was set to walk out onto the stage.
The artist took a deep breath and prayed that everything would go smoothly as he walked out onto the stage, waving at everyone with a small smile on his face. The first time he was on stage went relatively well and he was praying it would do so today too.
"Well.. wow! I don't know how I'm going to be able to pass that up." He smiled, the crowd cheering. "Seulgi and Chunga, you girls did good." He continued, resting his hand on his baby bump.
"Now without further ado, here are the nominations for Rookie of The Year." He said, turning to look at the large screen above the stage. The reel of the nominees played and both Jeongguk and Adora were among them.
"And the winner is..." Yoongi said as he opened the black envelope. "Jungkook!" He yelled, smiling happily for his friend.
The camera panned to Jeongguk and his face showed nothing but shock, he quickly got up and kissed Taehyung before up onto the stage and taking his award with a proud smile.
"Man.. what? I never.. wow, I'm sorry I'm just in shock right now!" He said, pushing a loose strand of hair behind his ear. "I just really wanna thank my supporters, my collaborators and my family because they all believed in me and helped me along the way even if they didn't know they were doing it." He thanked, smiling so hard his eyes were barely visible. The crowd couldn't help but coo and cheer at his cuteness as he closed out his speech. "Hi Asa, Ami, Woo, Ji, Su and Kai." He said before lifting up his award and blowing a kiss at the audience, leaving the stage soon after that with Yoongi.
