Everything went so fast, I just remember I was quarreling with Jason and tried to leave. I slipped and I don't know how I found myself infront of a car. And then, I don't remember anything.
I woke up in a hospital room, my head ached, my legs, my whole body. But what happened ?
I turned to the right and saw Jason in hospital dresses, he was sleeping. Am I hallucinating ? I don't remember him running after me when the car hit me. Or he had an accident too ? Thesame car hit us ? I was confused.
And I wished I had never met Jason.
He woke up and saw my eyes opened. I was thirsty.
"Hey, How do you feel ?" He said.
" I'm thirsty" I said
Then I took the water he gave me.
" Thanks. But what are you doing here ? What am I doing here ?
" You had an accident"
" Because of you"
" No, because you can't cross the road properly." He said. But before I could reply, he said.
" I'm just kidding. It's my fault, but not totally my fault too."
" All this it's because of you".
" You have the right to be angry Abby and I am Sorry"
He is Sorry ? Have I heard it ?
"For what exactly ?"
"For all what I did to you, the way I treated you, how I made you feel, you're right. I wasn't supposed to act like this with you. "
Was he apologising ? Or its an effect of the drugs ?
He held my hand and said.
" I am really sorry. I apologize. Can you forgive me ?".
I didn't have the strength to say no, he seemed sincere. He looked like he changed and was feeling bad for what he has done to me.
"I'll think about it" I said.
" What do you want ? I'll do everything you want me to do"
" It's okay, you're forgiven".
" It's like you like when I beg you before you do something? . You remember the affair with the call ?"
He added," I decided the deal is over. I'll pay you for half of the work. Just be my secretary. Let's forget about the fake dates and fake relationship."
"And your parents deal ? Your Job ?
" It's okay. I have a plan B. And because she caught us . She knew we were lying".
What plan B ? I won't lie but it seemed he had another date. And I started liking being his fake girlfriend. Because I've liked him since that Friday on Table 5.
"Then what are you doing here dressed like this " I asked
"I had some surgery"
" Why ? What happened to you ?"
The doctor entered.
"Good afternoon Mrs Abby . I'm Dr. Sam."
" How are you? "
" I'm feeling bad, it pains everywhere"
" You had an accident. If this guy wasn't there, you'll not be alive now."
