An Unexpected Crush

Chapter 15.

Abby.

We went to his mom's house. He likes to say his mom's house, but it's his parents house. He never mentions his dad and I think they have a sort of family problem. He never talks about him nor mentions him.

On the way, he just started telling me what to do when we get there and what I shouldn't do. I think you remember I told you I hated when my boss told me what to do. I feel the same. Even if I have my character, I was well brought up.

"So, just tell her what she wants to hear" he said.

" What do you mean? "

" I mean, tell her you are getting your degree, you know how to cook, you love me etc"

"Okay"

" If the question is difficult, just sneeze or cough and I will answer for you"

" Fine".

" Okay".

If you knew what I had in mind, may be you won't be okay with it. I want to make this dinner look terrible for him. At least, he merits it.

"I've forgotten"

" What ?"

" Hope you know how to eat properly with spoons and forks".

" Don't go above limits please. I know I'm not from a rich family, but you keep on reminding me I'm not good enough for you, not sophisticated and whatever. It's too much. Can you just shut up and listen to what you say sometimes ?. People are not born with thesame luck. You were lucky and I'm not. If you can't stop thar, I think that today will be the end of our deal"

" Abby...."

"There's no Abby. Leave me".

Their house is just modest, it's not extravagant, medium size gate, reasonable size, well decorated.  But we entered, it was beautiful, there was a tall and large tree, roses everywhere. By the way, they are my favorite.

We entered and met his mom and dad in the living room. He looks like his dad, same eyes, same face, same height and some little details. But he still looked good and seemed to be in his 60s. His mom was not too tall. I was slightly taller than her and I'm 1m75 cm.

She just directed us to the dining room because she'll ask for the dinner. This is how we got sitted infront of his parents.

" You won't present your girlfriend to us Jason ?" Said his mom.

" Mom, this is Abby and Abby this is my mom, Diana".

" How are you doing Abby ?" Said his mom.

" I'm fine " I replied

"You look good " said his dad.

" Thank you  Mr Bryce" I said.

" No, don't call me Mr. It sounds too professional. Call me Lucas." He said.

" Okay, understood".

They served a salad, with some pieces of bread and a little sauce.

" I made dinner tonight " she said.

" She always makes dinner when she's home" Lucas replied.

It was really nice and I can't wait for the next meal.

" So, how is it going with Jason? "

" Mom... please" said Jason.

" That's why she's here right ? Or you are afraid of something ?"
