An Unexpected Crush

Chapter 7.

Jason.

Getting up in the morning and having in mind Abby was weird. I didn't even like her. The girl is too proud.  She has no money but she thinks she can have everything. "Mrs take my number and call me". With all the problems I have, my parents have added this dating affair. Why do i have to deal with all these.

I know people who always say, they are in happy relationships. They have and feel butterflies in their stomach.  For me, it only happens in novels and romantic stories. See Titanic ? I'm sure y'all have watched it or heard about it, if I was Jack ,I will saved my life first. What he did was not normal. It wasn't making sense, that's why films are different from reality.

I wasn't okay with the fact that my brother was dating a waitress. I don't even remember her name. He's handsome, intelligent, he has money, hard working. How come with all the girls out here he choosed the waitress. I always tell him he can have everyone, no girl out here will refuse him. He could have have dated anyone from our class, our social class. Imagine, reading in Newspapers, my brother is getting married to her.

I have nothing wrong with her guys, my Chris says she's nice , she's nice. Their character match, but I think she should get another job, dress better and look like something.

Now, how the hell will I date in a month ? Who will I date ? I don't even the time for that. I'm sure my mom wants a marriage and grand kids, while I'm not ready for that.

Every Monday, we have all types of meetings. And I was really busy. At break time, I sat in my office and was still wondering how we have not yet caught our thief. I have to admit, he was very intelligent.  Yes, he. Because I don't think women have that brain. My brother ran into my office, he was happy and sad at thesame time. This type of look , I know it.

"Finally, we got our thief. Let me correct myself. .. Our thieves. You won't believe when I'll tell you who they are" Chris said.

" So, he wasn't alone, his company is huge. Someone has surely helped him .  I can't even guess. Just tell me. "

"Eddy. Our Accountant".

" How come we didn't realize it earlier? , he's the accountant. We should have started checking him since"

" The thing is, he got all documents legal, signed and it was almost impossible knowing which one is fake and which one is real".

" I sign all the documents, especially dealing with my money. I think there are supposed to be 2 signatures first, I sign first, then you sign after"

" Do you check all the documents you sign ?, because when you've signed, I just guess everything is okay and sign it too".

And That is how we caught Sarah. Yea, my assistant. Under her innocent looks she stole my money.

Chris added " And checking them out, they are dating" ," They will get married very soon".

" So, they wanted to use my money to plan their wedding ?, I guess there's no marriage, because they are going to jail. "

" Bro ?".

" What ?, even when I had nothing I haven't stolen anything from anyone.  They have a well paid jobs, cars, houses and it's not sufficient. I hate this kind of people. "

" But ?"

" There's no but. They could have just asked for more money."" Call the judicial person, let him deposit my claim. It will end in court".

" Okay boss"

" Don't look at me like that" and call the police.  I don't want to see them again here. "

Few minutes later, the police were there and they arrested them.

I was supposed to be happy because I caught them, but I wasn't. A part of me was telling me I've been too harsh. Sincerely speaking, I don't know when I turned to this. When I say this,  I mean, what I became. This new Jason.

I was now left with no secretary and assistant.  She was a thief, but she did a very great job and I never had to complain about her. I therefore met  Tyler, he is taking care of human resource. I went to his office and discussed with him.

"Tyler, I think you've heard about what happened with Sarah and Co?"

" Yes, Mr Jason.  All the company saw them getting arrested".

"I need you to employ people to replace them".

" Okay sir".

" Be efficient, please. At least hurry up to find a new assistant . Because I can't really do without. "

" Okay. "

As I closed his door. I had an idea. What if I asked
Abby to my new assistant ? It is not that I want to be seeing her cute face everyday, believe me. But I want to employ her and make her work for me.
Sounds like revenge, but it's not.
No, I'm kidding.  It is.
She made me feel like I was nothing, she treated me like I was from her social class. And now I want to treat her like they treat people from her class.
The only problem is, will she accept the job offer ? I can pay her twice the amount she earns there. Looking at her situation, she won't refuse.

That was really a good idea. But I had to make sure she won't refuse to work with me.

I know that is really bad.  I'm not usually like this. I even feel some shame doing that to her. But I did it.

I employed my driver, the guy is older than me but not too much too. I paid him enough to do that. It was just a little service.  And the guy needed money for his sick mom in the hospital. So, I can say we helped each other.

I asked him to get to Angel's Kitchen. I spread some beer on him, and he drank some alcohol from my office.  I made him look like he had problems and wanted to get drunk to forget about them.

That was the plan, he was supposed to make sure to get Abby as waitress. And for that, we called up Mr Collins, their boss for help. He can't complain. I paid him so well.  My driver Henry was supposed to make things go bad , touch Abby and make it look like harassment. Knowing Abby, she will react to that, push him or shout. But will obviously do something to him. And from that, Collins knew what to do. He was supposed to feel upset and fire her. Like that,  if I propose the job to her, she won't have the choice.

What a great plan right ? I couldn't tell Chris about it. He's first of all different from me, he won't see things as I see them. Plus, he is dating Abby ' s Friend. I don't  want him to know about this deal.
Everything is so easy when you have money.
And now, Abby will regret why she didn't call me back that Friday. I told her before.  I get what I want, when I want and when I want.

I had to make a call now. Yes. Call Abby.
I won't tell her I'm the cause of what's happening to her. Yes I will call Abby. And I'll be happy doing that.
