Arabella-
“Greenly!” I call when I finally spot his familiar light brown mop at the airport.
“Kennedy!” He calls back. We’d originally agreed on meeting at his hotel, but he was picking up a friend of his so we decided to meet at the airport. Almost immediately I race to hug him
“How are you?” I ask him.
“Good, you?” He answers
“Better now.” I answer, “Now, where’s this friend of yours?”
“They’re plane’s running late,” Jake explains.
“Flight 407 NYC unloading at gate 5.” The flight attendant calls.
“Come on.” Jake grabs my hand and drags me through the airport.
“Gate 5 is the other way.” I laugh. He heaves a sigh before sprinting the other way. Luckily I knew it was coming this time and I run a lot at school so I easily keep up.
A girl with auburn hair and bright green eyes stands with her luggage looking for someone, a boy with the same hair and eye color stands not too far from her. “Tracy!” Jake cups his hands around his mouth and calls out to them. She whips around and smiles when she spots Jake. She nudges the boy next to her and they both make their way quickly to us.
“Mac, Tracy, this is Arabella.” Jake introduces. “Bella, this is Mac and Tracy.”
“We’ve heard so much about you.” Tracy says, “Jacob won’t shut up about you.” So these were the infamous Redwood twins. The name suits them.
“He’s talked much about you two as well.” I reply, “So how was your flight?”
“Long and boring, Trace slept the whole time.” Mac says.
“My uncle let me use one of the cars, come on.” I head for the airport entrance. I wave over Dan one of Uncle Simon’s drivers, he’s the best. He’s like a father to me. He immediately drives over getting out to take Mac and Tracy’s luggage to put them in the trunk.
“This is your uncle’s?” Tracy gapes openly at the limo.
“Yeah…” I climb in the back of the small limo, Jake follows completely unfazed by the limo. He’d been in bigger ones with me before. Mac and Tracy slowly climb in.
“Where to Miss Kennedy?” Dan asks.
“Where are you guys staying?” I ask the two siblings
“Uh, it’s uh,” Mac fumbles as he pulls out his phone, “Here,” He pulls up the page with the hotel.
“Weston Boulevard Inn Dan.” I tell him with a smile before turning back to the group. Dan nods as the car starts up and pulls out of the lot. Tracy and Mac talk quietly as I turn to talk to my best friend in the whole world. Jake Greenly.
“How’s Matt?” Jake asks me.
“”He’s good, you’ll finally get to meet him. He’s actually in town for the holidays.”
“Wow, really?”
“Yeah,” I answer, I turn to Mac and Tracy, “You guys are welcome to come over for dinner. We’d love to have you.”
“Yeah, sounds fun. We’d like to get settled first.” Mac answers.
“That’s fine, maybe tomorrow or Saturday? It’d be good to have another girl around the house.”
“One of your cousins is a girl right?” Jake asks me.
“Yeah, and she’s ten years old.”
