Chapter 27 Let the Fun Begin

A/n: Hey guys! I know I haven't updated this in a while. I didn't have much motivation to finish this. But there are only a couple chapters left, so I thought that I might as well finish it up. Thank you all who have enjoyed this story so far. That means a lot to me. So, hope you all enjoy!

Days flew by in the ninja's base. Every hour they trained for the fight they've been waiting for. However, what they didn't know was that the fight was already on its way.

Cole's Pov (show)

"So, their base is in this warehouse?" Lloyd asked Stellar while the two looked over a map. She nodded in agreement. Lloyd then glanced towards me to confirm the information.

"It was dark out when we escaped, but that looks like the area," I admitted to him. He then took out a marker to draw a circle around the building.

"So, how are we going to do this?" Lloyd's copy asked while heading over to us.

"We're not sure yet. Pixal could scan the area before we head in," Lloyd suggested.

"The place is guarded at both entrances, but you should be able to take them down easily with your powers. You just have to be catious if they have any kind of Venge Stone type weapons," Stellar explained.

"Venge Stone?" Lloyd's copy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's a type of stone that cancels out elemental powers," Lloyd infromed him. His copy put his hands up as if there was a wall in front of him.

"Whoa whoa, wait. There's a type of stone out there that can cancel out our powers?" He questioned again, clearly shocked.

"We don't know if your dimension has the stone, but our world sure does. These guys definitely came prepared," I stated while glancing down at the map.

"We did, but Damien is becoming more and more reckless. Who knows what stunt he's going to pull now," Stellar finished with a sigh. I glanced up at her, noticing her demeanor.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked. She looked at me with a slight nod before turning back to the map.

"Uh guys? You need to see this," Jay spoke. All of us turned around to see him and the others by the computer. We headed over there quickly while Nya turned up the volume.

"Breaking news! Some kind of infectious virus is spreading throughout the city! Civilains are changing into some... some kind of lava monsters!" A woman spat through the screen as the camera looked down at the city. The camera man zoomed in on civilains who were already infected. Their bodies were now made of molten rock with lava spilling from the cracks.
"It seems that the rock monsters are infecting others by merely touching them. Our mayor has advised all citizens to evacuate the city as soon as possible. This is not a drill. This is not a drill!" She screamed into the camera. I stared at the screen, refusing to believe it.

"How... how is this happening?" I asked. My mouth hung open in shock.

"Damien. He must have used one of Quill's teas," Stellar explained.

"Wha... how can tea turn someone into that!?" Jay spat in disbelief.

"Don't you guys use a tea that can teleport you to another realm?" Stellar reminded with crossed arms. Jay opened his mouth to object, but he slumped down in the end.

"Is there a way to stop them?" Lloyd asked Stellar.

"I don't know. Quill probably does, though. We got to head to their base. That's got to be where he is now," Stellar explained quickly.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Kai's copy added as he raced for the door.

"Torch! Wait!" Zane exclaimed. Torch opened the base's door only to shut it instantly. He turned back to us with a pale white face.
