Parker's POV
"This outfit is definitely the one!" Niall proclaims as he examines his appearance in the dressing room mirror. Stood on top of a platform surrounded by three identical floor length mirrors, he was trying on his last outfit option for tour.
Wearing a white shirt that was in fact his own merch from a past set of samples he never released. Paired with a pair of dark fitted jeans and a brown belt. It wasn't very different from any outfit he would've worn on his last solo tours. That was probably why he liked it. This was his style now after all and I certainly wasn't complaining.
I loved Niall's tour outfits back in the old days of the band. The "crazy mofos" shirt and the one that said "poison" were iconic, but to see him wearing outfits like that now. I would just be confused. Might even laugh a little if I'm honest.
The wardrobe options that he had been going through for the past few hours were so much more mature. It was a new era for the band and the clothes really showed it.
I can even remember the photos that Harry sent me of the outfits he had tried on during his own fitting. Of course they didn't get as extravagant suits as he would've had in his own tour. His wardrobe still reflected who he was now. To sum it all up you could tell the boys were very happy with what they were given. Not having to give up the looks that made them, them.
"I think you've said that about the past five outfits hun." I speak up from behind him as I examine the outfit in the mirror.
"Well they're all great!" He continues to admire his appearance as he further explains his excitement for the upcoming tour.
The boys were leaving for the Asian leg of the tour in two days. The past week had been filled with meetings and fittings. After months of not having to do much of anything we were constantly out of the house.
Saying that this newfound busyness was weird would be an understatement. After months of staying home we were thrown back into normal life. Well Niall's life was far from normal. To some degree mine wasn't either. If it wasn't getting recognized by fans of my own it was by Niall's. Now I know why celebrities rarely go out in public.
I have to admit that it is kind of fun learning all the ways to keep from being spotted by the paparazzi. It sucks a little to not be able to go out normally with Niall, but part of me feels like we're on some secret mission.
"Sounds like we're leaving with everything. Time for lunch?" I say excitedly. We've been here for hours and my stomach was growling so loud the girl that was helping with the fitting was giving me concerned looks.
"Can we go back home and get food there? It's gonna be ages till my next home cooked meal." Niall asks as he slides on his jacket after changing back into his normal clothes. The both of us head out of the building after saying our goodbyes to the wardrobe crew.
The boys flight wasn't until 9pm so we still had some time to spend together before he had to leave. Even though he barely had to pack anything I still packed his bag for him. Well it was more for me to relieve my anxiety than to help him. I was never really one to have separation anxiety, but this was hitting me hard and he wasn't even gone yet.
We've spent the past 8 months together and now I wouldn't see him for two months. Which isn't a long time, but when you're in a giant house alone it isn't the most exciting time. I'll definitely be occupying myself with school and making videos for the time being. Trying to send myself in a state of denial that is so strong I don't even notice he's gone.
"How does stir fry sound? I was thinking about grilled cheese but I literally make that like twice a week." I suggested as we pulled into the driveway of the large home, earning a nod of approval from Niall.
