"Yah, noona, you better wake up soon. We're almost there." A voice came reaching down my right ear.

The voice echoed in my head, my eyes still closed. The man in the driver seat, beside me, patted me on my shoulder, giving me a little feeling of panic. I started to gain consciousness, slowly opening my eyes. My eyes were adjusting to the light shining through the car so I kept them half shut.

"Jeonghoon-ah, what time is it?" I asked with my morning voice. I started to feel cold so I crossed my arms with both my hands rubbing my arm through my thick hoodie.

"Hmm, almost 8 in the morning" He took a quick glance at his watch then kept his eyes back on the road.

"8? You mean we've been on the road for almost 2 hours?" We left the house before six in the morning right before the sun rose.

"Yes, and you slept your way through the trip." My brother replied.

It's true. I didn't get much sleep last night because I wanted to make the last day with my family count. We stayed up all night eating and watching movies. It was tiring, but I really had fun being with them after a while. I'll miss them.

The road and landmarks started to look familiar. We were near my dorm. Just about 10 minutes until we get there, I hear my stomach rumbling.

"Jeonghoon-ah, care to make one last stop? Let's get some snacks."

Jeonghoon drove the car to the nearest convenience store. We then grabbed some sandwiches, chips, and drinks to satisfy our hunger. As we ate in the car, we laughed and talk. About fifteen minutes before 9 AM, we finally reached my dorm.

I stepped outside the car and the environment around struck through all my senses. The look, smell, and noises all seemed familiar. Here I am, the place I'll be living in for the next semester.

The community where my dorm is was basically a bunch of houses rented by students who go to Seoul International University. My dorm was a twenty minute walk away from my school. It wasn't really far. In fact, I enjoyed walking from my dorm to the university, mainly because how quiet it is on the way to school and there were only a few people walking as well. Mostly students from the university I go to.

"Here, noona" Jeonghoon handed over my bags as he got it out of the car's trunk.

"Well.. see you on winter break" I smiled at him and lightly smacked his arm with my free hand.

"Yeah. Back to reality. Stress and all those things." He sighed as he wandered his eyes around the front of my dorm.

"Be a good kid to eomma and appa, eh? Don't be stubborn." I was trying to look like a good noona, which I kind of am.

"Yah, I've never been a bad kid to them, unlike you, Son Chaeyoung!" he jokingly said as he pinched my cheeks and gave it a little twist.

"Anyway, you should go in now. I still got a long way down the road."

I dropped my luggage and reached out my arms to him. We hugged. I broke the hug and smiled at him, then I proceeded to find the dorm's gate's keys in my purse.

As I was looking for my keys, a little thought creeped up my head: That's going to be the last hug I'll get from him in a while. I'll really miss Jeonghoon. The both of us might not have been the most affectionate siblings like we used to before, but that still can't change the fact that I love him.

"Yah, don't brag about the 1 centimeter you've managed to add to your height. You're officially 159 cm!" He joked and proceeded to go inside the car.

I glare at him as I was still looking for my keys. I saw him chuckle inside the car. He then honked his horn, driving his car out of the drive way.

I opened the gate as soon as I found the keys in my purse. I gathered all my bags and proceeded to enter the gate. I closed the gate behind me.
