Luther carried a barely conscious Five in his arms as Diego and Hill followed behind.

"Well, we can't go back to the house. It's not secure. Those psychopaths could come back at any moment.
"Does he always point out the obvious?" the young girl asked Diego.
"Unfortunately, yes..." Diego sighed, "alright, my place is closer, no one will look for him there."

Diego and Hill walked just behind Luther and Five as the 'younger' of the two rambled about the world ending.

"So, how're things with the girl? Y/N?" Hill asked.
"Oh, uh, haven't really seen her... But we've texted a lot" Diego explained, remembering he hadn't responded the past few hours.
"Ok, that's enough of that, I don't need to know any more"
"Hey! I-it's not like that-"
"Don't even try lying Diego," Hill cut him off, "I know everything in the universe... I know exactly what it's like between you two, I know what you think about each other." she said grimacing.

Diego cringed for a moment, embarrassed that this young girl knew his thoughts, but then smiled slightly realising that Y/N must feel the same.

"Oh my God my poor mind..." Hill whispered as they caught up to the other two.

Diego stood back with Luther as Hill crouched down to Five's level.

"Oh, hey, baby" Five slurred.
"I'm not your babe" Hill bit back.
"Yes you are, I say you are, so you are" Diego couldn't help but chuckle as he watched his brother pout.
"That's not how a relationship is formed."
"How's this for how a relationship is formed then?" Five smirked as he leant forward and kissed Hill.

Diego and Luther watched in shock as their brother and his maybe girlfriend kiss for a few seconds and then are jolted apart.

"What the hell just happened?" Luther asked.
"He got electrocuted you fucking knob head." Hill said as she stood.
"I don- was that- what does that even mean?"
"Stop asking obvious questions Luther, why did he get electrocuted? How?" Diego smacked Luther's arm.
"Because he kissed me, someone electrocuted me and the current passed through me and into him... To answer your next questions, no I cannot tell you who electrocuted me or how or why or anything like that, and nothing happened to me because I'm used to the voltage, he is not. Furthermore, he's pissed." Hill rambled on.
"He's not angry?" Luther stated confused.

Luther's face contorted to one with closely knit brows as Hill smacked her hand to her forehead.

"Pissed, in England, means both drunk and angry." Diego rolled his eyes as he explained, noticing Hill's smirk as he did so.
"How do you know?" Luther asked, still confused.
Diego coughed lightly and looked to the ground as he said, "I've been talking with someone who's British recently..."
"Yeah, just talking." Hill scoffed.

Diego glared at the other Brit as she just smirked until he smiled slightly. Luther stood looking at them dumbfounded, clearly having no idea what was going on. Diego turned his attention back to his sleeping brother, the others following him.

"Funny, if I didn't know he was such a prick, I'd say he looks almost adorable in his sleep." Diego said monotonously.
"Don't worry, he'll sober up eventually and be back to his normal, unpleasant self." Luther grumbled.
"I can't wait that long. I've gotta find out what his connection is with those lunatics before someone else dies."
Hill looked down and muttered, "At least the other one is safe..."
"What did you just say?" Diego asked the girl.
"Oh nothing, just contemplating life... Well... Sort of, I'm not really contemplating, I already know it so there is no need to contemplate anything but... I'm just thinking about it," Hill rambled, "Maybe you should go and visit a friend, Y/N? Patch?"
"Okay..." Diego turned around and wandered over to his desk.

Luther turned to the others in the room as he thought about what his brother had said just before.

"All that stuff he was saying, what do you think he meant by tha-" Diego held his finger up to silence his brother as he heard footsteps.
"Diego, don't! It's no one dangerous, I'm telling you now. Do not throw the fucking knife." Hill warned.

The footsteps faded as whoever was outside continued past the door. The group breathed out heavily and Diego decided it was time he paid Y/N as per Hill's suggestion.

"I'm heading out. Feel free to stay here just don't touch my shit."
"Holy crap are you listening to me?" Hill teased.
"Don't get used to it." Diego snapped back as he left.

Diego walked through the streets aimlessly, his feet on autopilot as he made his way to Y/N's apartment. He stared at his phone awaiting a reply and quickly changed his course when he learned she was still at work. He soon finds himself outside The Book Score, ignoring the closed sign on the door and letting himself in.

"Hey, Y/N you around?" He called out.

A/N- Hey, bit of a filler chapter as there was quite a bit of overlap with Agent X that I had to get through. Also just to explain the sort of time frame of this, in this story these events are earlier in the day than they are in the show so don't worry Diego will still be going to find Patch. Hopefully the next couple chapters will be quite fun and kind of cute for a few reasons 😁
