The next day, Sofia woke up on the sofa in her old home and saw Rogers walking out of the bathroom. He looked at her, "You can be stubborn," Rogers said and chuckled.

"Oh, hush," Sofia said and sat up.

"The bed is comfier," Rogers said.

"That I know," Sofia said and smiled.

"Waffles?" Rogers asked.

"Would love some," Sofia stood up, "I'm gonna... Wash up," She said and walked past him.

"How long is Roni gonna be gone, she's gone to San Fransico right?" Rogers asked.

"A few days I guess, but could take longer," Sofia looked at him, "Why worried I'll come home?"

"I'm worried you won't come home properly," Rogers said looking at her.

Sofia smiled and walked to the bathroom.

After her shower and she was dressed, ready for the day. She walked out to see Rogers folding up the blanket.

"Thanks, I was gonna do that," Sofia said.

"It's okay, I don't mind," Rogers said and smiled, "Hey, I was thinking... Tilly where does she live?"

"Streets... Maybe that cargo, not sure," Sofia saw Rogers looking at her, "Whatever you're thinking, I'm behind it."

"Do you think she would want to?" Rogers asked.

"No harm in asking," Sofia said.

Rogers looked at her and smiled, "Come on, breakfast is ready," Rogers said, turned on the news and they sat at their table and chairs, eating their breakfasts in comfortable silence.

Afterwards, Sofia drove Rogers to the station, "Thanks, love," Rogers said and he got out of the car and saw Victoria walking out of the station.

Victoria looked at them, "Lovely morning, Detective, Mrs Rogers," Victoria said.

"How are you out of jail?" Rogers asked.

"In a word determination. I didn't get to be who I am sitting around, waiting for others to improve my odds," Victoria said.

"And I believe he didn't ask for a TED Talk," Sofia said.

"I asked how you managed to sidestep your charges," Rogers said.

Weaver walked out, "I'm afraid that honour goes to you both, you failed to get a warrant," Weaver said.

"I had an exigent circumstance, there was an immediate danger," Rogers said.

"Judge didn't see it that way," Weaver said.

"Don't you mean you made certain he didn't? You dress it up any way you want. I know you're getting something out of this arrangement. Come clean with it now or I'll go dig it up myself," Rogers said.

"I'd advise against that, detective, or has ignoring me not done enough damage already," Weaver looked at Sofia, before getting into his car with Victoria and he drove off.

"What the hell was that?" Rogers asked.

"I don't know," Sofia said, "Be careful hon, okay?"

"I will, you as well," Rogers said.

"I will," Sofia smiled and went to drive off.

"Wait, come back, in a few hours okay?" Rogers said.
