Brooke, Hook, Rumpel and Henry headed to the cabin in the snowglobe and they walked inside to find Ella and Lucy there.

"Daddy/Henry!" Lucy and Ella said as Henry rushed to them and they hugged.

Brooke rubbed her arms trying to warm herself up and Hook looked at Rumpel who was also suffering from the cold, "I don't understand. Why are you cold? The Dark One doesn't get cold," Hook said.

"I'm afraid Rumpelstiltskin used the authors for more than he let on. He's stripped me of my immortality and of my powers. So, I can neither escape nor stop him," Rumpel said.

"From doing what?" Hook asked.

"Well, that's the question. You see, he is me but with the darkness unchecked by the love of Belle. He will use this new power to anyone he can and drag us all into the darkness where he wallows," Rumpel said.

"Seems like wallowing is something you have in common," Hook said.

"Excuse me?" Rumpel looked at him.

"Look, I'm sorry that you can't be with Belle, but you're not the only one who's suffered a loss. I may never fix my heart, I may never be together with Alice again but I'm not giving up," Hook said.

"And neither am I, I've wallowed and I'm not anymore... It's not my way," Brooke looked at Rumpel, "At least when you die, you'll properly find Belle, but me right now, I know for a fact my children aren't dead and Killian won't let himself die until I'm home. So, quit your bloody wallowing and tell me the type of magic to try and tap into to get us out."

"You can't break it," Rumpel said.

"I'll damn well bloody try and tell me, Rumpel, or have you gone back tot he coward you used to be?" Brooke asked him.

----x----

Later, Rumpel, Brooke and Hook were trying to break through the snowglobe but were unable to break it.

"Our spirits are gonna break long before that glass," Rumpel said.

"We should try another area, there must be a weak spot," Hook said and flinched when a blast over magic past him, hitting the glass, but nothing happened.

"Dammit!" Brooke yelled and groaned.

"There's that unshakable determination, however misguided. That's the reason why I kept you as my partner and the reason I wanted you with us at the station. That and your good hearts," Rumpel said.

"Well, seeing as we're allowing certain death to bring up secret truths, I do have to ask you giving the amount of power that you once held, how come you never used it to destroy me?" Hook asked.

Rumpel looked at him, "Because you were the closest thing I ever had to a friend," Rumpel said.

"Hey! I take offence to that!" Brooke said and Rumpel chuckled, "What's so funny?"

"The years you've been helping me, Brooke, I never once thought of you as a friend," Rumpel said.

"Can I punch you?" Brooke asked.

"You were like a daughter to me," Rumpel said and Brooke looked at him shocked, "The way you always tried to help me, dropping anything when I contacted you. You were the closest thing I had to a child since Bae."

"Oh, I hmm..." Brooke said and flinched as Maui's fishhook appeared near her feet, "What the hell is that?" She asked.

"It's our salvation, it's Maui's hook," Hook said picked it up.

"Oh," Brooke said.

"Where did it come from?" Rumpel asked.

"Well, I have a good hunch. Let me see if I'm right," Hook said and used the fishhook to break the glass.
