Rogers and Brooke walked into the station, "I just need to talk to Nick and then we'll work on getting home, okay?" Rogers asked and she nodded.
Rumpel walked up to them, "Sofia, are you sure you're okay being here?" Rumpel asked.
"I'm fine, I need to be doing something," Brooke said.
"Okay, well... We need to talk to Nick," Weaver said.
"Okay," Brooke nodded.
Minutes later, they stepped out of the elevator, Brooke was going to wait outside the room as they talking to him.
"So, what do we do when we talk to this head case? Do we call him Nick or is it Hansel?" Rogers asked.
"Ah, it doesn't matter. All he's gonna be responding to soon is a number on the back of an orange jumpsuit," Rumpel said.
Brooke leaned against a wall as Rogers and Rumpel went into the interrogation room, "Should we get help?" Rogers asked.
"Why do you need to get help?" Brooke asked and walked in, seeing Hansel dead.
"I don't think we have to bother," Rumpel said.
"What the hell happened? You think some kind of medical condition?" Rogers asked.
Brooke looked around and saw a straw from a doll on the floor, "No, there was someone here with him," Brooke said.
"How? The door was locked and we're the only ones with a key card," Rogers said.
Rumpel noticed the straw, Brooke looked at Rumpel, "Where is it?" She asked him.
Rumpel looked at her then at Rogers, "Lock down the building. Now!" Rumpel said and he and Brooke ran out of the room.
"Where the hell are you two going?" Rogers called out.
Rumpel and Brooke went to the evidence locked, "You're awake?" Rumpel asked her.
"Yeah, one good thing Hansel's done," She answered, "Where is it?"
Rumpel went to where he usually kept the dagger and found out it was gone.
----x----
The next day at the police station, Rumpel was heading out the door and Brooke and Rogers approached him.
"Weaver, what the hell's going on?" Rogers asked.
"I have a hunch who killed out suspect, this one I intend to follow up on," Rumpel said.
"So, I guess we'll take care of all the actual, bloody police work, then," Rogers said.
"Well, you go ahead. Pull surveillance footage, dust for prints, follow whatever part of the book you like. Just don't get in my way," Rumpel said.
"What the hell's gotten into you? We've never seen you like this," Rogers said.
"Like what?" Rumpel asked.
"Scared," Brooke said and he left without a word.
Flashback
Brooke was walking beside Hook, "Hook what's the matter?" She asked.
"I just want to check on my daughter before we head back to the campsite, that okay?" Hook asked.
"Sure," Brooke smiled.
The two soon found Rumpel watching Alice and Robin, as Robin delivered Hook's letter to her.
Hook drew his sword, "I think Alice has had enough visitors for one day," Hook glared at him as Brooke sighed, "See, I don't care that everybody thinks that you're a hero now, including my less-dashing other-self, because I know the truth of who you are, Crocodile," Hook said.
