its nighttime at Hogsmede station, the train blows ita whistle and pulls into outside the station. Hagrid walks along the side aisle, with a lantern. People in their robes, begin puring out of the train. "Right then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on, now, hurry up!" Hagrid yells towards the first years.

The twins and Ron in their robes, walk up to Hagrid. "Hello, twins." Hagrid greeted them. "Hey, Hagrid." The twins say in unison. "Whoaaa." Ron says looking up at Hagrid. "Right then. This way to the boats! Come on now, follow me." Hagrid says leading the group of first years to the boats.

A large number of boats are plugging across a vast lake, where up ahead a huge castle, known as the Hogwarts Castle, can be seen. All the student look in awe. "Wicked." Ron says. "Not wicked its brilliant." Hope says as she stands next to her new friend. They continued walking on further towards the castle.  

The first years board the boats, soon as everyone's board they all start rowing in the direction of the castle, Hope looked down at the beautiful water. "It's amazing isn't it?" Hope asks her brother in amazement. He nodds in awe, "Its great." Hermione added, Hope looked at her and smiled, "Very." 

The boats came to a stop as they reached the boat docks, "Everyone please follow me." Hagrid says before students unload from the boats. Hope and Hermione are out of the boats first, then the boys, Ron almost fell into the water before Hope and Harry grab him and pull him up. "Thanks."Ron says to the twins.  

The first years walk towards the castle, they soon arrive and walk into the catle, and up the staircase. As Professor McGonagall is waiting. She taps her fingers on a stone railing, and then goes to the top of the stairs to greet the newcomers.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now while you're here, you house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points his rewarded the house cup." Professor McGonagall states to the students of first years.

A scared looking boy named Neville Longbottom, spots his toad sitting near Professor McGonagall. He jumps forward, "Trevor!" he yells as he catches his toad, McGonagall stares down at him as some of the students laugh. "Sorry." Neville says as he backs away slowly with his toad.

"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." McGonagall says before she walks away from them. A young evil looking boy, with short white blonde hair, speaks up, "Its true then, what they're saying on the train. The Potter twins have come to Hogwarts." The students around them start whispering and saying their names,

"This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy, Draco Mafloy." Draco says, Ron snickers from beside of Hope, "think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley." Draco says staring down Ron. Hope looks at him angrily, "Well, soon find tht some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. Don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there." Draco says extending his hand out for the twins to shake. Hope pushed her brother back so now she was standing in front of the Malfoy boy, "I think we can tell who the wrong sort are for ourselves, Malfoy." Hope says glaring at him.

Draco glares at her getting ready to say something before McGonagall returns and taps Draco on the shoulder with a parchement. He leaves the twins with one last glare to Hope. She scowls at him back.
