So later in the afternoon, after school, I found myself tiresomely dragging me through the front door and past my mom in the kitchen.

"Sweetheart, you're back," she said with a warm smile.

"Yeah...I am," the words managed to escape alongside my deep, exhausted yawn.

"Baby, now are you sure you don't want to go back to your fad and I picking and dropping you off at school? Cause I noticed this whole new trekking business that you came up with has been tiring you out massively lately," she uttered, obviously worried.

"Mom, I'm in my final year of high school, but yet you and dad still disagree on buying me my own car till I go off to college...so yeah, I still think going by my grown self is a hundred times better than my parents taking me like I'm still four," I concluded and began mounting the steps before she could give me any response.

Getting to my room in my drowsy state felt like a big relief, and without any hesitation or further thoughts, I collapsed on my bed lazily and shut my eyes instantly.

It felt nice to finally just relax and let myself go.

But just then, Stella and the guide suddenly popped into my head. I think I was supposed to get dressed and go meet her in her room for the next step to take, but then my sweet sleep wasn't letting me.

"Hmm...whatever, I'm just gonna miss it for today...I'm sure Stella will understand...no harm done," I finally decide as I drifted further away from reality.

But not too far though.

Cause because I could tell what was going on, I heard a sudden heavy splash which I felt drench me and my poor bed instantly.

The coldness I felt was more than enough to send my eyes flying open hastily, and me jumping out of my lying position, only to see the inconsiderate demon that had that to sleepy me.

It was Stella.

She was holding the fat glass jug we always used to store water in the fridge, but I also noticed that it was empty.

She smiled at me, "Evening sunshine."

"Fuck you Stella!... You're a mother-fucking asshole!" I brought myself to exclaim furiously as I shivered on my cold and drenched bed.

"And you are mother-fucking late! I have been waiting for you to come to my room, but turns out you are in her sleeping like this whole Christopher and Lucas thing is my problem!"

Whatever. That didn't cut it. She had absolutely no right to treat me like the trash I wasn't.

I watched angrily as she dropped the jug on my reading desk took up her book in its place and began flipping through the pages.

"I hope step one went well for your slow-learning self," she said seriously as she flipped, but all I could do was just to stare angrily at her while placing a lot of on her destiny in my mind.

"Well, I'll just take your stares as a yes...step two..." She said straight-forwardly.

I didn't even think she cared about what I felt concerning what she just did to me.

"...Make him aware you exist!"

"He's in my class...he does know I exist!" I replied, wiping my soaked face with my soaked hand.

"That's not what I meant. Yes, I know he does know that you exist...but what I'm saying is that you are now to get involved with him...a simple conversation with him can start you off...this is now where the real work begins you lazy bitch," she snapped at me.
