When I woke up, I felt two arms around me... I didn't remember where I was. Then, it hit me. Nate. James. Asher. The wedding. My mother... Oh god, I wish I could just go back to sleep, but I had to get up. I tried getting out of Nate's arms without waking him up but I failed desperately. When I moved my arm, he opened his eyes

-Amber? He said confused.

-Yes... I retorqued.

-Were you not okay in my strong arms? He said getting up and winking at me.

-Could you just be normal for once? I said rolling my eyes.

-It's not my fault if I am that handsome. He said still winking.

-Do you have something in your eye? Because it seemed to be stuck there! I said with sass.

He rolled his eyes a little then he smiled at me. He was right for one thing. He is definitely handsome, even if he just woke up. His hair was messy, but that was part of his charms, his eyes looked so bright and his smile... oh god.

-Still staring? He said smiling.

-In your dreams. I said then I punched him.

-Heyyy! You promised you wouldn't punch me anymore! He said.

-Yes, well, I just broke that promise. I said laughing.

-Then I will continue to tickle you until you stop! He retorqued

-Noooo! I said then he tickled me and I couldn't breathe anymore.

I tried to make him stop, but we ended up on the floor. His body on mine. Our eyes locked together...

-God, blueberry... he began.

-What? I said laughing a little bit.

-You're so beautiful, even if you just woke up... he said.

He brought his face closer to mine and in his eyes, I could see he was sincere. His lips were now one inch from mine and it's at this moment that Hazel walked in. Great!

-What's happening here? She said suspicious.

-Nothing! I said while getting up and I rolled on Nate. We ended up on the floor again, but next to each other, our elbows touching...We were laughing so hard.

-Really? Said Hazel laughing too.

-Yes, Haz! Amber just needed a place to crash for the weekend. Problems at home or something like that. Nate retorqued while getting up and helping me get up.

-Oh, that's ok! You can crash here anytime. I'm sure Nate would really like that! Hazel said winking at us.

-Oh, shut up little sis! Nate said smiling.

-I would like it too. Hazel continued laughing.

-Thanks. I said still laughing

-Anyway, I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing before I entered the room.

-Whatever. Said Nate rolling his eyes, then Hazel left and we were alone again.

I turned my head and looked at him in his eyes. They were beautiful, but they weren't James'... Tears flooded my eyes and one rolled down on my cheek. I ran out of the house and sat down outside on the front porch. I heard footsteps following me and I knew they were Nate's...

-Hey. Are you okay? He said and when I looked at him, I knew he cared...

-Well, to be honest, no I'm not... I said whipping my cheeks.

-You can talk to me if you want. I know I'm not always kind and that sometimes I'm full of myself, but I'm here for you, you know...

-I'd say you are full of yourself all the times. I said laughing a little.
