Eren's POV

We finally arrive at my house after borrowing some books from the city library. At this time, the sun had just rested and the moon has appeared to replace its role. There is a sense of annoyance in my head because of this history assignment. Mr. Pixis instructed us to search for a minimum of five historical stories from five different countries. Not only that, these five historical stories must be historical stories that are rarely heard or never heard of at all.

Amazing!

Before we do the assignment, I do my habit from a young age when my mind is filled with tension and pressure. I take my towel and clothes. Also, I turn off the bathroom lights and immerse myself in the bathtub which was full of warm water.

"Ahhh, what a live!" I groaned.

I remember when I told Mikasa about my ritual. At that time, She laughed and thought it was a strange habit. Especially, when I told her the name of this ritual, her laughter grew even bigger.

Eren Jaeger-style: Ritual of Darkness.

My laugh also appears remembering that name. However, it isn't that long. In fact, there was a woman who also laughed when she heard it. A woman I don't want to remember her name at all.

Damn it...

---

I wake up in the middle of the darkness and silence. Almost delirious— forgetting where I am right now. As a reminder, I'm still in the bathroom— fall asleep in this warm pool of holy water. When I want to go back to sleep, I hear Mikasa shouts and calls me from the kitchen.

"Erennn !!! If you don't finish your strange ritual soon, the food will get cold!!!"

"Hey!!! How noisy this witch is !!!"

"What did you say?! A Witch?!" She shouted in higher tone.

I burst out laughing when I hear her reaction.

"Listen young man, this time I make sure that you won't have dinner! I'll finish it all clean! And right then, I would love to see you cry and beg me for food!" She said threateningly.

"Yes-YES, I'm sorry. In five minutes, I'll be there. Please don't eat all the food!!!"

---

After we finished eating dinner, we do a history assignment in my room. Here, Mikasa is only helping me with assignment because we're not in the same history class.

"So, what about Greece, China, Egypt, Italy and Australia?" I recommended the countries that will be the subject of research.

"What if Italy is replaced by Indonesia? You have mentioned Greece and Italy. They are both countries that have quite famous historical stories."

"Why should Indonesia?" I asked.

"Just so you know, I come from Asia and Indonesia is a country that has quite interesting historical stories. Sadly, the world always turns a blind eye to this country. All they know is the Bali Island. " She said grumpily.

"A-Alright, I'll agree..."

Rather than getting into trouble!

After choosing, we immediately look for historical stories from the five countries. We design a writing framework based on Mikasa's suggestions, starting from Greece, China, Egypt, Australia and Indonesia. Also to speed up the work, we also divide the tasks. I summarize these stories from the books we borrowed and Mikasa makes a presentation file with my laptop.
