Before Queen's Obsession, Approximately 16 years ago Before the events of Lunatic ended.

Jennie was missing again.

The maids and butlers were at their wit's end trying to find the youngest Kim in their vast manor in New Zealand.

Jisoo thinks that Jennie was just out in the woods, wandering alone like the Tarzan Jisoo tends to call her. Of course, Jisoo wasn't that worried if Jennie got lost in the dense trees. Her little sister was quite perceptive of her surroundings even at such a young age. Jennie was what Jisoo would like to call as someone who has a photographic memory that can easily make out or recognize signs and landmarks where ever she goes.

But if something bad did happen to Jennie-- yeah, Jisoo will cross the bridge for when that time comes.

Though, Jisoo did warn Jennie to stop wandering around-- the  youngest Kim was just far too stubborn, so no matter how many times Jisoo berates the girl, Jennie would just shrug off her words and do whatever she likes.

It can get quite annoying at times, when Jennie doesn't listen to her-- but one word from their mother and the youngest Kim becomes obedient again. Well Jisoo can't blame her little sister, their mother can be a little scary at times.

An eight year old Jisoo can be seen walking down the hall with a book on her hand, reading the thick texts with a rather bored look. She'd occasionally glance in front of her just to check that she wouldn't crash on a pillar. Some of the staff fussing around the place would stop and politely greet the young miss as a sign of respect, to which Jisoo acknowledges with a brief nod of her head.

The sun glared heavily inside from the windows, the curtains were pushed to the side just so the light would enter the slightly dim manor.

Jisoo tilts her head to stare outside, the sky lacked of any clouds and the sky blue heavens were clear. A soft sigh was released from Jisoo's nose before she snaps her book shut, her feet starts to drag her towards the entrance of their manor. Her mind urged her to go outside and get some fresh air, she had been holed up in the library for hours now and her nose was slightly itching from the dust of the worn down pages of books in the library.

Once Jisoo steps foot outside their house, she takes in a lung full of air-- appreciating the cool breeze that tickled on her cheeks, a contrast to the warm glow of the sun up above her head.

Jisoo looked in front of her to see the dense forest beside their manor. The Heiress still can't comprehend why her parents loved the woods so much, it doesn't help that Jennie seems to be following in their footsteps-- something Jisoo can't relate on, simply because she'd hate to dirty herself from trekking in the woods.

Jisoo opted to take a seat on the Manor's veranda, facing towards the forest. The glare of the sun irritated her chocolate brown eyes a little, but the cool and fresh breeze was just too tempting to pass. The gardener gave a tilt of his cap once he caught sight of the young Kim, to which Jisoo responds with a small wave of her hand.

From Jisoo's position, she has the perfect view of the dense trees. Her chocolate brown eyes flicker up the trees before she turns her attention back to her open book laid on top of the table.

The birds quietly chirp on top of Jisoo's head, the cool breeze gave feather like touches on Jisoo's skin causing her to shiver for a brief second. The wind made the small bell placed on top of the veranda to jingle a soothing chime.

Jisoo doesn't know how much time passed as she was too enraptured with the book  in front of her, it was Grimm's Fairy Tales that her father brought to her from Germany. The book, unfortunately, was in deutsch. Her father probably did it on purpose so she'd polish her knowledge of the European language.
