Present time
Rosé was bored, very much so. It took a lot of will power just so she wouldn't doze off in class, but the soft tingle on her head and the way her body felt light proved otherwise. No doubt, if she were to casually close her eyes-- she'd immediately fall into slumber.
She could hear the frail voice of their Theology professor talking about Jesus and word of God-- all those things you'd normally hear in a religious subject. But Rosé wasn't having any of it, she barely listened and her professor's voice sounded more of a soft buzz in her ears as she stares aimlessly on their white board that's full of messy scribbles, courtesy of her professor.
The person beside her was no different, Lisa's elbow was perched on top of the table and she could see how the Thai had her eyes closed-- she was on the verge of collapsing and face planting on the table as her head and body swung idly due to the pull of earth's gravity.
Rosé was tempted to push the back of Lisa's head to see how the girl would react when her face would finally smack on the table-- but she wasn't that evil... Maybe...
Rosé grinned when that thought was implanted on her brain. She was generally not mean, but annoying Lisa was just far too entertaining-- and it's payback for all the times the blonde would continuously tease her.
Rosé all but slapped Lisa's perched up elbow to see how this would turn out, she expected the blonde actually face plant plant on the table with a loud twack-- but she didn't expect Lisa to jolt awake and twirl around to punch her in her arm.
A strained squeak escapes Rosé's throat as she felt Lisa's first collide on her clothed arm-- she held her scream in as she didn't want to alert their professor, but she did glare at the blonde, by which Lisa returns with just as much ferocity.
"I knew you would do that, you lil' shitte." Lisa hissed.
"You punched me!" Rosé bites back in accusation.
"You're so annoying..." Lisa huffs out as she crossed her arms over her chest, her hazel brown eyes looked tired but she dazedly looks in front of their room-- the Thai looked like she was about to fall asleep again, but she casted suspicious looks to Rosé.
Rosé merely laughs in disbelief. Okay, it was totally her idea and she knew doing that the the girl was a bad move, but damn did Lisa pack a punch.
The Aussie quietly massaged the spot Lisa punched, but the pain was already fading so it didn't really matter much anymore. The professor in front was still continuing her class even though half of the people in the room were probably brain dead by now, everyone looked like they were half awake and half asleep-- she can count the number of people with her fingers who were genuinely listening.
Three minutes in and Rosé's eyes fluttered shut, her hearing starts to drone out the professors chattering noise and she felt rather light weight-- as if she was drowning in the sea and all she could hear was muffled noises from the surface.
She could have slept right there and then when she suddenly felt a harsh jab on the side of her ribs that caused her to let out a short yelp, Rosé turned to glare at the perpetrator but she was only met with Lisa pointing in front.
Rosé was met with their professor looking expectedly at her, the Aussie turned to Lisa with a questioning look but the blonde merely answered with a grimace.
"Ms. Park-- can you please stand up?" The professor orders the stricken girl.
Rosé complied and she eyes their professor warily-- she can't really tell what the woman in front of their class was thinking, well their professor was just smiling though the smile looked a bit forced-- or tired, Rosé doesn't really know.
