Chapter 53: Zoey Kissed Him

Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian arrived at the Jiang's mansion earlier than the others, he already told Jiang Yanli about it and they agreed immediately.

"Lan Zhan, we'll be having our night here, is it okay?" Wei Wuxian asked and looked at him worriedly.

"It's okay, as long as you're okay with it." Lan Zhan said and smiled at him. Wei Wuxian giggled and peck on his lips.

After preparing, Wei Wuxian's friends arrived at the Jiang mansion. A room is set for them to have a party for themselves. Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan are already in the room waiting for them.

As his friends entered, Zette's eye immediately glued on Lan Zhan. He stared at him and sat beside Wei Wuxian. "Can we change seats?" He whispered in his ear.

His brows met, confused as to why would he change seat with her.

He looked at Lan Zhan then back at her. He sighed and stood from his seat. Lan Zhan noticed him standing up and grabbed his arm. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"To the restroom. I'll be right back." He patted his hand and smiled at him.

"Then get back quickly," Lan Zhan said and let go of Wei Wuxian's hand.

When his seat became empty, Zette immediately occupied.

"Hi!" She giggled, greeting Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan didn't budge to look at her. He remained silent and scrolled on his phone. As much as he doesn't want to be with Wei Wuxian's friend, he can't let Wei Wuxian down.

"How are you last night? did you arrived well after taking Xian home?" She asked continuously. She is trying to be close to him, but unfortunately, she's not even a bit interesting for Lan Zhan.

But she didn't give up. She grabbed the bottle of beer and poured some on Lan Zhan's cup. "Drink up, I hope you don't mind us having fun," She giggled.

Lan Zhan's attention didn't change. His cold self is not even budging to look at her, even an inch.

"Zette, drink up!" Bin immediately interrupted. He knows just by looking at Lan Zhan that he's not happy that she's doing such things, but as Zette's friend, he doesn't want to upset her.

"Cheers!" Zette raised her mug and clink with Bin's. They both laughed.

Just then, Wei Wuxian arrived. The empty seat he left were already occupied. The only seat left is beside Zoey. They intentionally left the seat empty beside her because they knew that Zoey likes Wei Wuxian and they want to help her.

Wei Wuxian has left no choice, he shrugged and sat on the empty seat which is just across Lan Zhan.

"You okay?" Wei Wuxian mouthed at him when Lan Zhan looked in his direction.

Lan Zhan nodded slightly and put down his phone.

As the drinking session starts, Zette keeps on pampering Lan Zhan with questions that Lan Zhan just ignored. Lan Zhan's eyes are fixated on Wei Wuxian. He smiles when Wei Wuxian projects a cute smile whenever he talks to his friends.

Zette smiled, 'he smiled, so handsome!' she squealed mentally as she watches Lan Zhan smile genuinely. Her heart is beating fast every time Lan Zhan smile.

She is persistent, she bugs Lan Zhan and gets ignored. Her will power never gives up. But he just receives a cold shoulder from Lan Zhan.

After a couple of hours, they emptied several bottles of beer and wine. All of them are wasted except for Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian. Lan Zhan didn't drink anything, while Wei Wuxian is slightly drunk.

"Do you remember the times that Zoey always sticks to Xian?" Zion suddenly uttered and laughed.

"Yes, yes, she was like. Xian there, Xian here." Bin second the motion and smack on the table as he laughs.

"Nyou knyow Shoey? She rheally yikes Xhian a lyot. (You know Zoey? She really likes Xian a lot.)" Zette faced Lan Zhan and drunk-talk. She giggled.

Zoey immediately smacks her, "Shh, dyats our shecret! (Shh, that's our secret!)" She chuckled.

Wei Wuxian is clueless about what they are saying. He just laughed at them. But everything he hears is just buzzing sounds.

"Shoey, Xhian ish just beshide you. y nhot tsell him? (Zoey, Xian is just beside you. why not tell him?" Erin pushed her. She just giggled at her.

Lan Zhan just watched them getting hype. He already knows that, that Zoey likes Wei Wuxian.

"Yah right!" Prim who is the silent type, suddenly uttered. He quite drank a lot like the others.

"Do it! do it! do it!" Zion then suddenly cheered.

The room is getting hype, Bin and Zette is pushing Zoey as well.

Lan Zhan's brows met. His blood is slowly boiling. He doesn't want where it is going already.

Zoey shyly moved closer to Wei Wuxian, while he don't have any idea at what they are talking about.

Lan Zhan's eyes are turning crimson red in anger. his blood is boiling on its limit. He watches as Zoey gets closer to Wuxian.

Zoey slowly lifts her hand and cupped Wei Wuxian's cheeks. Wuxian just looked at her confusedly.

She smiled at him, as their friends hype her up, she leaned closer to his face. And in just a second, Zoey rests her lips on his. Wuxian was caught off guard. His eyes went wide at what she did. Everybody in the room cheered, except for Lan Zhan whose ready to kill. His eyes turned fully red.

He angrily stood up, making the chair rattle and stumble on the floor. They all stopped and looked at him. He stomped his feet as he went on Wei Wuxian's side, he grabbed his arm and yanked him up. Zoey's eyes went wide when she felt a deadly stare when she met Lan Zhan's eyes. Her drunkness immediately sobered after witnessing the menacing eyes of him.

Everyone traced their eyes at them as Lan Zhan drag him out of the room.

Lan Zhan angrily drags Wei Wuxian in the garden. He hissed and greeted his teeth. His fist is clenched tight.

"Lan Zhan?" Wei Wuxian suddenly uttered and looked at Lan Zhan with his worried eyes.

Now he's sobered from Lan Zhan's dragging.

Lan Zhan didn't answer, he doesn't want to hurt Wei Wuxian just because of what his friends did.

His raging feelings is making him not think straight. He might just kill someone because of his anger.

Wei Wuxian sighed and rest his hands on Lan Zhan's clenched fist. "Let's make it clear to them tomorrow, okay?" He reassured with his sweet voice.

Lan Zhan looked up at him, his expression slowly softens. His eyes slowly turning to its original form.

"I'm sorry," Lan Zhan cried and hugged Wuxian.

"I hate what she did to you," He continued, as his anger accumulated after remembering what he saw.

"Shh, I would never like her in the first place." Wei Wuxian cupped his face and rest his forehead to his and eyed him with reassurance.

"I love you, lan Zhan." He whispered and peck on his lips.

"I love you too." He roared and pushed the back of Wei Wuxian's head, deepening the kiss. He forced his way on Wei Wuxian's mouth and he just gladly accepted it.

Their kisses are getting heated. Lan Zhan lifted Wei Wuxian and sat him on his lap. His other hand is supporting his back while the other is pushing his neck.

"I want to remove all the evidence that she kissed you," He growled between their kisses. Wei Wuxian just answered every move of Lan Zhan's mouth and tongue.
