The Great Escape

(OK, there probably won't be any other people's pov's because they won't be very important from here on.)

I can hear him. Ripper. He's trying to get near someone, probably to kill them. I could only think of (y/n) and how he killed him. Bastard! I'll make him suffer for that!

I slowly approached (y/n), admiring his bravery to still trust me when I was able to kill him with no consequences. But I would never do that now. He is my friend, no, my family. I hatched and saw him, watched him come see me every day, even if the visits weren't on good terms, and he even started trying to be friends before all this happened.

(Y/n) Pov

Ripper got closer and closer, I shit my eyes, ready for him to kill me, and then...

Nothing.

I opened my eyes to see his, staring into mine, his red, firey orbs staring into mine. After what seemed like hours of staring, I couldn't hold it back, I stepped forward and hugged him, not caring if it meant misplacing my trust. He had to have changed, or I'd be dead now.

He tensed up when I touched him, clearly not knowing what to do, but he realized what I was doing and embraced me, picking me up and hugging me back.

After we were done, he put me down and I touched his snout, looking deep into his eyes again. I started tearing up, remembering all of the hardships it took to get to this point.

(Y/n)- Oh Ripper, you big softie, I'm not going to let them hurt you again. No one will ever touch you with me, we'll live together happy.

(Y/n)?! They're alive? And they're talking to Ripper... I have no idea what's going on, but I needed to get out of this cage, maybe (y/n) will hear me and get me out!

From behind Ripper I heard Obsidian roaring, just like he does when I come back after a few days. I pulled the lever to bring his cage out and slowly saw me.

As soon as our eyes met he began clawing at Ripper and the bars, trying to get to Ripper.

Obsidian- Hey! Get away from him! He's mine and I won't let you hurt him!

Ripper- No, he's mine now, he told me! I won't let you get over here, you clearly aren't thinking!

Obsidian- He told you? Like I should believe that! (Y/n)! Get away from him! He wants to kill you!

Ripper- Shut up! Maybe I should have him, he trust me now, why would he need you?

Obsidian- He trusts you? No, he wouldn't! You hurt me! And him! He could never like you!

The two seemed to be yelling at each other, and I was scared. The two most dangerous creatures in the world, yelling about something. I backed over to a corner and closed my eyes, too afraid to look.

After what seemed like days of roaring, I felt a nudge and opened my eyes to see Ripper, staeing at me with sadness.

(Y/n) It's okay, I'm okay. But we need to get you both out of here, it's not safe, we can go to my house, you guys can-

He stopped me, growling but stopped when he saw I was scared again, but turned to glare at Obsidian.

Ripper- Look! You've scared him! He doesn't want you anymore!

Obsidian- Weren't you listening! He said both of us! He wants me and you together! Let him go, he needs to get me out of here!
