Out of Infinity~ LoK OC Story (HIATUS)

Prologue

Soza waded into the spiritual water of the North Pole. A sense of calm washed over her as she felt Ravaati began to sleep. It was the only time Soza was able to find peace anymore. Ravaati was buzzing, and Soza felt filed to the brim with the spirit's hunger and power. It was taking everything just to remain calm and in control. Everyday the spirit asked to leave her body. To save her from the spirit's own actions. Soza refused. Every time.

"It's time. Not even this water can stop me from this. One last chance, let me leave."

"No, we do this together."

"Then it's time to go. The Avatar, I know you have doubts in her."

"I do, but I believe that in the end she will prevail."

~Months Earlier

"I want you off the Amon case Korra! Tarrlok is using you!" Tenzin yelled at the avatar. It wasn't very zen of him. 

"You can't control me Tenzin!" Korra yelled back.

"You have to listen to me Korra." Tenzin took a breath, "There's someone new on the Amon case. She won't be happy if you interfere."

"Who?"

"It's classified."

"Well too bad, I want to talk to them!"

"It isn't exactly someone you talk to... you more just listen and do as you're told."

"Oh what?! You too scared!"

"Well I'm glad I induce the same fear as I used to." Both benders turned to see a woman with white hair. Korra immediately knew who it was. The woman who aided in her fire and water bending teaching. Someone who should be 86, but looked no older than 35 thanks to reduced aging from her spiritual friend.

"Soza? You're in charge of the case?"

"I think that's pretty obvious."

"Well, can I continue helping with Amon?"

"No."

"What? Why?!"

"Because I said so. That should be enough for you."

"Why are being so cold?"

"I'm always cold. Now I said no, so stay out of my way."

"Bu-"

"DID I STUTTER!"

"No... no I-I won't."

"Good. Tenzin, a word." 

The two walked away from an angry avatar. She grumbled something under her breath before walking away.

"Alright Soza, why are you actually on the case?"

"Ravaati grows hungry for chaos. More restless every day. Your city is packed to the brim with it."

"Joy."

"Yeah you could really be doing a better job. Although Korra's arrival being made public isn't exactly the best."

"No, no it is not."

"And you and I both know she's not staying as out of this as we'd like."

"She never does."

"So what will you do when Ravaati becomes too much to handle?"

"With any luck, we'll destroy the world as you know it."
