Soza's eyes softened at the sight of the air-bending children.

"Auntie Soza!" Jinora yelled out with a huge grin on her face. "Can we talk to spirits again? Please please please!"

"Not right now Jinora, I'm doing some training with Korra alright? I promise later we'll go into the forest and find some." Jinora skipped away as Soza walked up to Tenzin. Korra was still struggling to grasp air-bending, and was currently being slapped around the spinning doors test.

"Korra get out, start again I'll talk you through it." Soza said.

"Good luck, it's impossible! I don't know how they do it." Korra stomped over to stand next to Tenzin and watch. Soza took a deep breath.

"Close your eyes. Breath in and out. Feel the air around you. How steady it is. The balance." Soza began. "Where is the air coming from."

"The doors, duh."

"Korra!"

"Sorry."

"Reach out towards where the air is coming from. Recognize it. Control your breath like you're fire-bending. In and Out. Feel the air." Korra's shoulder relaxed as she slipped into a shallow meditation. "Now step forward. Feel the air around you move and twist with the doors. Keep your eyes closed. Feel the air against your skin buzzing around you."

"I feel it."

"Now go in. Don't open your eyes. What you see is a distraction. Focus on the air." Korra began to turn and spin between doors. Feeling the air, and subcontiously bending it slightly to get through.

"How did you know how to teach her?" Tenzin murmered to Soza.

"It's how Aang taught me." the airbender looked at her surprised. "I bas my bending in all forms, even if I can only bend two elements. Re-directing lightning originated in my uncle's study of water-bending. My chi control method is taken from earth-benders, and my quick fights style is based on air-bender movements."

"Really?"

"Stop being so ridged Tenzin. If you loosened up a bit it'd do you some good. Even your sister possesses some flexibility in her bending taken from your father." Soza said with a smile.

"It seems so strange that you knew him so well." Tenzin said with a bit of sadness in his voice, "Katara doesn't talk about him anymore. It's too sad for her. Zuko is never here, even if he's no longer running the Fire Nation. No one knows where Toph is. It's only you that speaks of him now."

Soza looked down to the ground at the name of Zuko. It didn't work it out. It never would. They were better as friends and that was that. They were both too damaged.

"I'm sorry if that'a sore spot for you Soza."

"It's alright Tenzin, I have to let go at some point."

"I- I did it!" Korra yelled, fists pumped in the air. "Thank you Soza! How did you know! Closing my eyes helped so much!"

"Yes why would I think to do that. Perhaps it's because I have no idea what you might be seeing?" Soza laughed.

"Oh... right, sorry. Anyways I've got to go!" Korra yelled as she began to prepare for pro-bending practice.

"Actually Korra, I was wondering if I could meet your team?" Soza asked with a smile. Was this actually an investigation, possibly, but she did want a better relationship with Korra.

"Oh, uhhh, sure!"

So the two went off to the gym in republic sitting. As the walked Soza got a fair few looks. She was pretty recognizable with the pale blue hair and eye scar. Two people even asked for signatures, but they eventually arrived at the gym.

"Mako, Bolin, meet Soza!"

"Mako looked pretty neutral but Bolin seemed like he'd just seen gofd."

"Like the Soza, the one that can bend two elements and helped teach the avatar fire-bendering? Like with the blue dragon and everything?"

"Yes?" Soza replied.

"Oh. My. God. You are amazing!" he grabbed and shook Soza's hand.

"Umm yeah sure... I just wanted to meet you all since Korra seems to enjoy your company." Soza said.

"Sorry about my brother. My name's Mako, nice to meet you." the older held out a hand whcih Soza took and shook.

"You're the fire-bender yes?"

"Indeed."

"Maybe you can show me some of your in ring moves. I come from a time ruled by wide and larges stroke, I want to double down on some small and quick styles."

"Oh, um, yeah sure I guess. It's just well-"

"Not everyday a fire-bending legend asks for your advice?"

"Well yeah."

"Understandable, but let's get to it!"
