valentine's day came around and wooyoung was ready to confess to seonghwa. he didn't think he had a high chance of becoming seonghwa's boyfriend after this, but he tried to stay positive.

when he gets to school, he starts walking a little slower than usual when he gets to the school's entrance with a card and a small teddy bear in his hands. he stops walking when he sees seonghwa by his locker, taking some things out.

wooyoung takes a deep breath before starting to walk towards him. he starts feeling more nervous than he felt a few minutes ago.

"hey seonghwa!" wooyoung calls out for him when he sees him close his locker and start to walk away.

seonghwa stops and turns around to face wooyoung, waiting for him to say something. "here." wooyoung tells him. seonghwa looks down at the teddy bear wooyoung is holding and gets a confused look on his face.

"for me?" he asks him and wooyoung nods as his hands shake a little because of how nervous he is.

"h-happy valentine's day."

seonghwa hesitates before taking the teddy bear and card from wooyoung. when rejecting people, he tried to let them down slowly. he doesn't want to break their heart more than he already will.

"thanks, wooyoung." he thanks him. "but you're giving this to me as a classmate, right?" he tries acting oblivious, hoping wooyoung won't end up confessing. he doesn't want to reject someone else today.

"n-no." wooyoung looks down for a few seconds before looking up at seonghwa and making eye contact with him. "i-i like you, park seonghwa."

seonghwa stays quiet for a few seconds, not knowing how to respond to that. wooyoung feels his heart beating faster at every second that passes by and seonghwa's still quiet.

"i'm sorry, wooyoung." seonghwa finally says. "i'm sure you're a great guy and all, but i don't feel the same way."

"oh." wooyoung looks down. he doesn't know why he expected the results to be different. what did he think? that seonghwa would say he likes him too? he's pretty sure seonghwa has gotten a lot of love confessions today... why would he say he likes wooyoung out of all the people who have confessed?

"thank you for liking me." seonghwa gives him a small smile. he ruffles wooyoung's hair and is about to walk away, but wooyoung takes his arm.

"get to know me then." he blurts out.

"huh?" seonghwa gives him a confused look.

"you said i seemed like a great guy. you said you don't like me, but you don't even know me... so get to know me. get to know if i really am a great guy."

seonghwa looks at him with a surprised expression. he didn't expect wooyoung to tell him this. in the past, it always seemed like wooyoung had a hard time talking to him.

"wh-what?" seonghwa stutters, not sure if he heard correctly.

"date me for a week." wooyoung tells him. "and try not to fall in love with me."
