EXT. BEACH CAVE - NIGHT
The hurricane is gone. It left a wasteland of death and destruction.
But it's gone.
A sly RAPTOR sneaks to the entrance of a cave facing the ocean beach.
The raptor spies the younglings of a Sairasaura herd couped inside to rest. This sly predator is LURION, and he has been stalking this herd for a while.
He has his digitalized mind set on one particular female puppy that the humans call CHARLIE.
FADE TO:
INT. CAMP ONE COLONY - BEDROOM2 - DAWN
Dinel opens her undergrowth-dweller eye and finds a weak ray of morning sun welcoming her.
She is laying comfortably next to Larry, on his bed. She lifts her head up, checks out Jay under the covers still snoring in his bed across the small room...
...then spots Toby on the door, looking back at her.
DINEL Chirp?
Toby brings his index on his lips 'Shhh!' and enters the room. He walks to Larry's bed. He leans on Larry and Dinel.
Dinel follows every movement of his with a worried eye but doesn't move herself.
Toby's hands envelop her with grasping intentions. She flinches shut like a helpless prey.
CUT TO:
EXT. CAMP ONE COLONY - GARAGE - DAWN
Locked in a cage made to fit her nicely, Dinel stares out through the metal bars at the other parked utility off-road vehicles intended for military use and glances around looking for the source of that BUZZING whine...
...It's a flying drone...

The flying drone is also known as a AAV (Automated Aerial Vehicle) model SD-1B, nicknamed "NINE" and is targetting Dinel's cage - a wooden trunk with metal bars - sitting on the rooftop of the LUV.
