Black was all I could see and the sound of tires travelling fast along the road was all I could hear. All I remember was seeing Merle and three other men then being knocked out across the head. “HELP!” I screamed hoping someone could hear me. I was questioning weather Rick was besides me or not so I decided to attempt to roll around to find whereabouts I was. I fell down and landed on my back then decided to lie there for a while; suddenly the vehicle came to a stop and the sound of large boots came walking towards what would have been the Ute of the car. I was carried then placed somewhere still only to see complete black darkness, a door was opened and then we were accompanied.

“Wake em’ up.” I heard a low male voice. The black bandana was ripped of my face then I was plumped onto the dirt road. “Where am I?” I questioned to a man holding an AUG assault rifle. “Where do you think?” He responded. I examined the small room to find I was placed in an abnormally large sized storage room full of shelves, a bed and a tap. “A storage closet? Why?” I asked with my hands tied behind my back. I saw at the corner of my eye Rick lying down on the wooden floor beside me. “Rick?” I said looking for a sign of breathing. “He’s unconscious.” The man started to speak. “ Martinez must have hit him a little too hard.” He continued. I looked at him confused in search of answers of why we were here and what was going to happen to us. “Martinez?” I said looking at four three men standing around both Rick and I; one tanned Mexican looking male who looked to be in his early 30’s, a African-American male who seemed extremely quiet. The man who had been speaking to us the whole time was tall, pale and wore a leather vest thing and looked to be in his early 40’s. “This is Martinez,” He lured the Mexican like male over towards him and introduced him. “This is Martinez, he was kind enough to knock the both of you out so you couldn’t harm us.” He said. I chuckled then looked directly at every single one of the men then chuckled a little more. “Harm you?” I started. The man tilted his head and tried to figure out why I was laughing. “You had four men on us, all with guns and knives and a truck that could take down ten walkers. Then there are us. Two people barely armed, low ammunition and no vehicle at all. And you think we’d harm you?” I said. He looked at me then looked at Rick. Then turned his back and started to walk towards the door. “What’s your names?” he said coming to a stop. “Andy. Andy Greene. Please let us go, we have done nothing we wont even speak of this.” He looked at me then opened the door to leave. “Where are you going!” I yelled. Martinez and another male took a hold of us then assisted us to the door. Martinez opened the door then revealed a town with houses that were clean, a gate made of cars and metal barriers and light. My jaw dropped in astonishment for I have not seen a town, let alone a place so secured and clean in this world.

“Holy shit.” I said. I heard a groan from beside me then saw Rick had finally woken up examined where he was then struggled to escape. He went to pull a gun on both Martinez and a man that I did not know the name of. “No use buddy. We already took all your weapons.” Martinez said smirking. I looked at him then looked at Rick. “Andy?” He said, “What… what is this?” He said examining the area again. “My home. So you better show some respect, buddy.” Martinez continued. Rick looked confused and hopeful at the same time. “Sir, calm down. You don’t have anything to fear. You’re safe now.” The male leader said as he appeared behind rick placing his hand on Rick’s handgun, which was in his pocket. “Who are you? Where are we?” Rick asked.

“You’re in Woodbury.” He said. “Welcome. My name is Phillip, but my people call me the Governor.” Both Rick and I looked at him then looked at each other. “Your people?” I questioned.
