Running within a blink of an eye Rick Grimes was once again reunited with his wife and son. He hugged them tight as tears dripped down his cheeks. I smiled as I watched him smile and laugh and felt my heart warm with happiness that he could be happy and smile once again. “What… What are you doing here?” He said holding Carl tight. He stood up on both after kneeling down and faced Lori. “We were close to dying and The Governor found us. Took us in. He helped us survive.” She said.

“The biters were caving in on them when Martinez, Shumpert and I found them. Lucky they are.” The Governor said from behind Rick.

“Thank you so much. Good to know there’s a few good people in the world, still.” He replied happily.

Once I had picked my room to stay in and everyone else as well I inhaled a deep breath then laid down on my comfortable and clean single bed. “You comfy?” I heard a voice behind me as I unpacked my bags. I turned around to find Daryl standing at the door holding his beloved crossbow and a black garbage bag full of his belongings. “Yeah.” I said then tossed a quick half smile. “Good.” He said nodding, then turned around to go to his room. “Would it make a difference if I were not comfy?” I snapped. He turned around to me then exhaled loudly. “Guess not.” He said, “Have a good sleep.” He continued.

“Daryl,” I said. “When you kissed me… did it mean anything? I mean why have you been avoiding me? You just stare at me and not say a word.” I questioned. He started to move towards me then turned his back and walked down the hall. “Daryl Dixon you stopped where you are this instant and talk to me right now.” I exclaimed. Glenn walked past with a plastic cup of chocolate yoghurt and laughed. “Someone’s in trouble.” He said quickly walking passed the door. Daryl put his stuff down in the room two doors down of mine and came back into the room. Sitting on a chair where he placed his arms on his knees and hands on his forehead. “I meant it. I kissed you cause I kind of like and to be honest I never really have felt that before meeting you.” I smiled then stood up looking at him. “Why didn’t you say so?” I asked. He stood up then kissed me once again and closed the door.

I woke up to the bright full moon light shining onto my face. Rubbing my eyes I got out of bed then put jeans and a t-shirt on. Looking at Daryl sleeping I smiled then quietly opened the door sneakily trying to avoid waking him up.

I walked around the apartment rooms and found myself in front of the Governor’s room. I heard a female voice, which sounded familiar then yelling of frustration. I quickly hid behind a large plant that was next to the room as I heard footsteps walking towards the door. The door opened then in the dark light I saw a dark headed woman walk fast out the door and stop in the hallway. “Damn it Phillip, not now. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me about this. You found him two days ago and you couldn’t have told me? What about Carl? He needs a father!” The female voice said. I finally saw the face of her and was startled. “Lori?” I said whispering to myself. “Come here. Don’t ever talk like that to me you selfish bitch!” The Governor said slapping her across the face. “You will respect me in my own home and appreciate that what I have given you here is far more better than what Rick gave you back at that pathetic camp.” He yelled. She looked scared then he took a hold of her and clasped his arms around her waist and took her into his room. “Now come here.” He said. Then closed the door loudly. I sat on the timbered ground for the moment to try and process Lori’s affair with the Governor and realised that the Governor was not who we thought he was. Suddenly I fell down on the floor when the door behind me opened and I found Martinez there. “What are you doing here?” He said in confusion. “You’re not meant to be up here.” He continued. He suddenly grabbed me by the hair and pulled me in covering my mouth from screaming. “Shut up! Don’t speak, don’t yell!” He said still with a tight grasp of my hair. He threw me onto his bed then took a large chug of a beer he had beside the door. “Help!” I screamed scared.

“No!” I yelled.

The door then opened suddenly and both Rick and Daryl entered the room. “Daryl!” I screamed. Martinez grabbed the empty beer bottle then attempted smashed it over Rick’s head knocking him out. “Rick!” the Governor rushed into the room then pulled Martinez off me who was half naked as well as the Governor. He took Martinez downstairs trying to keep him quiet, as the rest of the building was asleep. Daryl held me then hugged me tightly. The Governor came up to the room standing beside Lori who had only a blanket around her. Rick stared at the both of them once he regained consciousness and was in shock once again. “What the –”
