Chapter Seven

"You will go on a date with me " he said grinning from ear to ear.

"I will do what??!!" I shouted in disbelief.

He stood up from the table coming towards me and repeated " You will go on a DATE with me " emphasizing the date word .

"Are you on drugs " I asked crossing my arms.

"What???!!" He said surprised .

"Because you must be hallucinating".

"Come on Ashley don't act like it's a big deal , we will go somewhere , eat something and um we will talk and that's it "

"No" I said giving him my best glare .

"Why not?!" He asked looking curious.

"There is a million reasons why" .

"Ok just tell me on of them " .

"Don't you see?! I am working , I have a job to do"

"I can wait till you finish" he said with a shrug "go on what else?".

"Well .. I'm uh not dressed properly?.." seriously Ash , couldn't you find a better reason?? But what should I have said? I was too nervous.

"um well I think you look fine , don't worry I am not going to take you to a five star restaurant or anything like that. "

"FINE" I gave up because I didn't have time to continue the argument.

"Alright then , go do your work" he said looking like he was going to get wings from happiness. Wait , why is he that happy if his parents forced him to marriage at that age??! Wasn't he supposed to be sad or angry something like that?! He really is a very strange boy .

Finally came the time that the shope was empty but I had lots of plates to wash, and it was around nine PM. I would usually go home after work and sit around my family. We each talked about our day and share everything and then watch TV or play solitaires .We were pretty close to each other. But after I found out that I am not their real daughter ,I don't think I can be the same with them as before.

I was actually glad that I would spend this evening with Jesse because I really didn't want to go home and face them.

"Whats his name?!" I heard Susan say

"who?!" I said confused.

"The boy that's been waiting for you all day" she said with a smile.

"Ohh him ... uhh he ..he is Jesse .. "

"He seems like a good guy "

"I don't know him yet " I said shyly.

"Leave those plates for me , I am going to wash them , don't make him wait anymore"

"Oh thank you so much ... then I am leaving .. have a goodnight" I said giving her a quick hug and went to look for Jesse as I saw him I started " I am so so sorry I am really late , can't we go another night ??? " and as I approached him .. guess whatt??? He had fallen asleep on the couch.

I sat on the couch next him and decided to realx a bit before waking him up .. it was the first time that I saw his face clearly. I don't know why I felt like I've seen him somewhere but can't remember where or when. .. and he actually looked really cute , but there was no way on earth that I would tell him that in person.

"Ashley ... Ashley hey wake up" I heard someone say and moving my arm .. I tried to open my eyes but shut them immediately because of all the light "Oh so sleeping beauty is finally awake " he said and laughed to himself .. wait Who is he ? Why am I here? Where is HERE? I panicked as I stood up from the couch and started looking around.. oh no

" why am I still at this coffee shop??" I asked him.

"Well you fall asleep in here last night .. and by the way people say good morning when they wake up , haven't you learned that yet?.."

"What is the time??"I interrupted.

"Umm half past nine".

"Whhhaatttt???? CRAPPPP... IM LATE FOR SCHOOL" I shouted like a maniac.

"Okay calm down because you can't go to school anyway".

"And why is that??"

"The door is locked.."

"What do you mean by LOCKED??"

"Well , last night your boss has locked the door before going home and took the key".

"You are kidding , right??"

"Nope, you can go watch it yourself " he simply said .

I attacked the door like a monster and tried my best but nope it didn't open "wooh it is locked" I said breathing heavily.

"I know that's what I told you a minute ago"

"So what are we going to do??"

"We will wait until your boss comes and opens it , we don't have any other choice" he answered.

"But I have to open it now" I said in a devastated voice.

"Do you have any superpowers that I don't know about?" He said sarcastically.

"IT'S NO TIME FOR JOCKIN JESEE" I shouted as hard as I could.

"Okay okay I am sorry , so when do you usually open the shop?"

" well , around nine o'clock ... Ohhh no ohh no no no no please I am begging you don't tell me today is Thursday"

"I am afraid it is why?" He answered curiously.

"Because we don't open the shop on Thursdays , my boss Susan visits her parents and she has left by now for sure " I said losing the last bit of hope that I had .

"So does it mean that we are stuck in here?".

He said with a smirk. "I am starving by the way so please go make something for me ."

"Hay hay captain , do you need anything else ??". I said crossing my arms.

"No , for now its just breakfast" he said as he placed his arms on my shoulder "and if I need anything else I will make sure to inform you".

"I will see what I can do" I said as I sneaked out of his hands and ran to the kitchen. I could feel my cheeks burning , yeah I blush so easily and I really I don't want him to see it .

So I'm gonna be stuck in here for more than twelve hours with him ... shoot how am I going to survive?? I am pretty sure it's gonna be a long longgg day...

Before saying anything I wanna apologise and say I'm soooooo soooorryyy for that late update but blv me I was so busy with some stupid exams .
