The Eight Mountains have stood strong and unwavering since the beginning of time and the earliest days of Haelan, as has their immortal kings, and the magic they have bestowed on the lands and their inhabitants. But as The Silent Plague swept across the kingdom, turning its people to stone, and stealing their last breaths as they became frozen and forever bound to the lands, the all-powerful royals could do nothing but stand back and watch in horror as their empire crumbled.

Her journey calls for sacrifice, pain, misery, and heartache as she battles with life, death, and fate itself in a race for a title built on lies and deception.
