She shut her apartment door, and threw herself on the couch with a smile. She phoned Chloe.
"Hey, are you almost in Gotham?" Marinette heard loud shouts and destruction over the call.
"Yes Mari! We should be there by Saturday, as planned!" Marinette heard the doorbell ring.
"Hold on Chlo." Marinette put her phone on the coffee table and answered the door. "T-Tim? W-what are you doing here? Well I didn't mean it like that but-" he rose a hand with a smile and held up her bag. She facepalmed.
"I am so, so, so, so, sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"Don't mention it blueberry. And you were right, about the apartment. I took a tour about ten minutes ago. I'll think about it, but it seems awesome!" She beamed.
"Cool! Do you want to come in?" Tim sighed.
"I don't know, I have a lot of stuff to get back to at the office-"
"We have that blend from across the street..."
"Well I suppose I can stay for just a little while..." Marinette giggled and walked off to the kitchen.
"MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE! I'LL BE OUT IN A COUPLE MINUTES!" Tim sat down on the couch, but heard muffled yelling. He walked over to the coffee table, and picked up her phone.
"Hi, Mari is making coffee. Who is this?" the voice stopped yelling.
"Chloe. I'm her best friend. Who are you?" Tim chuckled.
"I'm Tim. I'm a friend. I assume you are the Chloe who we are meeting for lunch on Saturday?" he heard snickers over the phone.
"Oh, so she invited someone else. Ok then. Yes. So was that you that I heard making her stutter a few minutes ago? I will say. I haven't heard her stutter like that since Adrien. Girl was smitten. You mind putting me on Facetime? I have no idea who the hell I'm talking to."
"Umm ok, sure." He hit the camera button and saw a blonde girl sitting next to a ravenette.
"Oooh, she picked good. Timothy Jackson Drake Wayne!" The ravenette hit the blonde in the arm. "What? I'm with you 'gami, I'm just saying-"
"So how do you know Mari?" the ravenette's glance was cold. Much like Damian's. Tim chuckled.
"I surprisingly just met her yesterday. I'm her boss at W.E." the blonde cackled in laughter.
"Oh my god this is too rich!" she fell out of the screen.
"If you're her boss then why are you at her apartment?" The dark haired girl asked, while Chloe fell from laughter again.
"Umm, well I forgot, I mean she forgot-"
"Tim, what are you doing?" the two on the camera laughed. Marinette sighed and sat next to him. "What did you two do?" The blonde stopped laughing.
"What did we do? Mari, you left us on the call to get the door. Timothy here, picked up. He's a nice fellow. And he's your boss? Your life really is an Anime!" Marinette rolled her eyes.
"Wait, how do you know his name Chloe?" the unnamed ravenette asked. Chloe chuckled.
"I was a young girl, but I went to Wayne Gala's too as a kid. And the guy is famous. He's a Wayne." Tim's face darkened.
"You're the girl that told my father to fire Alfred." Chloe cringed.
"I was a spoiled brat as a child. I was eight." Marinette laughed.
"Only a spoiled brat? I'd like to add a bit more."
"Please don't." all four laughed.
"Well Mari, we'll leave you two to your little date and we'll see you on Saturday!"
