After nearly three hours in war council, i really needed a coffee. With my father's permission, I was able to sneak out the back door but not before getting a few sly winks and hearing a few murmurs about violent women which i ignored. As i was crossing the town square, dodging runners going to and fro to put my plan into action, i found a open bar, ordered a black coffee and sat down on a bench. As I was sipping my long deserved drink, I saw Terrence staring into the fountain. I walked over to him. " didnt think they would have fountians here" i said "too much noise. "well with the upcoming war there is no need to be discreet" he replied stiffly. I stared at him but he ignored me so i went back to looking at the decending moon. " i never realized how beautiful it was intill i came here." i murmured, entranced by the pale circle in the sky. Terrence grunted. We stayed like that for a long time. I was lost in thought, following the pale light with my eyes until it slowly dissapeared, "you should get inside" i said His head snapped up. "what is Cecile tell you." i stared at my shoes and opened my mouth to answer when i heard a grunt and a dull thud. I looked down to find Terrance at my feet, clothes steaming. "Terrance?" No answer. As i watched in horror, his exposed skin on his hands was burning and i watched as his breathing became labored. "HELP" i screamed. Cecile was there in an instant, telling me to get his head. Togeather we carried him to the closest house, mine. Cecile bound the burns that had appeared on his skin while i put a cool cloth on his head. An hour later, when he was sleeping peacefully and i had retired to my room. I looked in the mirror and found that my face was wet but from what i could not tell.

I could tell that he was awake because his breathing became comicly slow and exaggerated. I would have laughed if i weren't so annoyed. " you will have to face it sooner or later so might as well get it over with" Cecile said to him as she walked twoard where i was standing, arms crossed, looking like o could take on the sun king's army my self. " when you are done here dad wants you. They are setting up the final preparations" I nodded slighly, not taking my eyes of him.  Cecle shrugged and walked out of the house. It had been three days since the incident and i was done with crying. Now i was just mad. Slowly, his eyes fluttered open. "Hi" he croaked. "HI?" i said. "This is all you have to say to me after you almost died? After you knew the sun would come up early. After you lied to me about who you were?! After you failed to tell me what would happen? After you tried to kill your self?! All you have to say to me is HI!?" He stared at me for what seemed like forever. After I had clamed down enough so i wouldnt kill him the second he opened his mouth. I opened mine. "How long have you known?" I wispered  He sighed. " when i was ten i snuck out, wondering what was outside that could be so feared. I spent all night roaming the streets so glad to be free with out someone staring at me every two seconds. suddenly i couldn't breath. your father took me inside and from that day, everyone knew, not just the elders" I took three deep breaths. "I have ordered everyone to deny you any information about that war or the attack. you are not to be allowed out of this house and if i catch you roaming about or trying to fight i will kill you myself." And with that, i stormed out of my house while he stared, awestruck.
