I opened my eyes in surprise because i wasn't dead. The sun king was at my feet, wiht a sword sticking through his middle. It's blade was black. I looked around franticly and was hoorified at what i saw. I crawled over to Terrance and felt his pulse, his hear beat was weak. I saw the blade, sticking out of the right side of his chest. I held him for what seemed like hours murmuring his name. "Daemon" I heard. Surprised, I opened my eyes to find that he was awake. "That's my real name" He wispered. Daemon.  I stared into his eyes, which were turning golden in the morning sunlight, blinking back the tears. He took a shuddering breath, which must have been hard for him seeing as he had a knife in his heart. " Lily, my Lily" he whispered as he gazed into my face. Tears were streaming down my cheeks. I couldn't breath. I had given up trying to stop the blood hours ago and only had the strength to hold him. " I'm sorry, so sorry" I whispered back. I knew it was hope less, he knew it was hopeless. I don't know how he could hold on through so much pain. Everything had gone so wrong. It was a simple plan, a simple twist of the wrist. Why had he even been allowed out of the castle gates? Why did he have to do such a stupid thing like that? I should have been asking those questions inn my mind, with me being who I am, but all I could think of was what he had done. He was still murmuring my name. And as the sun came up, just as it did everyday, I watched the man I had grown to love, not even knowing how it happened, close his eyes.
