Chapter 3 | Aaron

I walked into the mall after leaving my house and I was excited to be out for the first time in forever. (THE WINDOW IS OPEN SO'S THAT DOOR I DIDN'T KNOW THEY DID THAT ANYMORE-) I walked into HotTopic and looked around for a little while. Then I heard someone talking and I walked over to the cashier. "OH MY IRINE YOU TWO ARE WORTHLESS!!" The cashier said to a white haired girl and a brown haired boy. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding on your conversation but I think I'm ready to pay for my things now.." they all looked at me followed by that shadow knights leader kid saying "what ever new kid! You can wait we're talking" he turned back around and I grabbed him and pushed him. "My bad! What are you going to do about it?" He started to walk back over to me and punched me. "Stupid dog" I started to get up "dog..?" He looked considered "You think I'm a DOG!?" I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and punched him in the face before YEET- I threw him onto the floor. "I'm a werewolf shit lord.." I placed the shoes I wanted on the counter. "Hey you got to school with these two right?" The cashier asked me "umm... yeah?"     "My name is Gene! And I have something to ask of you..."      "what is it?"      "There's a girl we call kitty. Can you get me pictures of her? These two can't"    "Alright... what's in it for me?"     "I'll give you something in here for free ever time you get me those pictures"       "Alright, what's her real name?"     "Aphmau.."

I walked over to the coffee shop. And I bumped into someone. "Gah!!" I fell down "oh sorry here let me help you" I look up to see a boy. He was wearing a white shirt and he had a red jacket on. He also had a bandanna over his eyes. "I'm Ein what's your name?" I asked the boy "Aaron"

Aaron helped me up and we sat at a table together. We order our drinks and some food. Aaron got black coffee with one cream and two sugar as well as a bagel. I got a vanilla latte with three sugar and two cream, I also got a chocolate chip cookie. "You seem to like sweet things don't you?" Aaron asked once our food got here. "Oh.. I don't normal get sweet food but I haven't been here before so I thought I'd try something new!" I said blowing on my coffee to cool it down. "Hmm, I see..." he took a long sip of coffee. "How does that not burn your tongue?" I asked him. Considering I could feel the heat from the other side of the table. "Not sure" he said taking another sip. "Hmm.. that's weir-" I was cut off from a familiar scent. "Are... Are you ok?" He asked "I've smelled you before" he looked confused "umm... what?" He turned his head at me. "Your scent... I've... smelled it before. In the back of we're wolf class.." I looked up at him. "Oh.. what school do you go too?" "Phoenix Drop High" "I used to go to that school." "Oh, what happened?" "I graduated" "C-.. can I ask you something's about the school?" "Sure" "Are werewolf's at this school always so judgmental?" "What do you mean?" "I was sitting on the fountain and a werewolf yelled at me claiming I was in his way. Then I tried to sit somewhere remotely close to some girls. Then in werewolf class I sat down and someone yelled at me claiming I was in his and his girlfriend's spot." "O-oh.... no not normally..." "oh... so it's just me..?" "What? No!" "But you said it's not normal." "If there acting like this it's not your fault. Aphmau is trying her best anyway." "Aphmau?" "You know her?" "Yeah she's our alpha female! She's a weird werewolf though." "That's cause Aphmau isn't a werewolf she's human." "W-what? A.. a human?" "Yeah? What's wrong with that?" "I didn't know Humans could be a werewolf alpha..." "Well I was the Alpha last year so anything is possible." "But your a werewolf.." "What? No I'm not!" "You smell like one though..." Aaron started to look uncomfortable. I took a sip of my coffee. And Aaron took a sip of his. I chanced the time on my phone

6:00

I still have plenty of time. "Wanna hang out? I have until 9:00" I asked "Umm.. sure?" We walked around the mall and went shopping. Or whatever you call wanting something just to find your broke af and can't buy it. We walked around for a little while and then we walked into HotTopic and looked around for a little while then I found a really cool shirt I liked but I couldn't afford it.. "aww man......" "What's wrong?" "I doesn't matter I can't buy it anyway my dad would kill me.."
"Why?" "I'm don't normally go shopping, and I don't have much money besides the 10 dollars I got for baby sitting." "You where here already though. I saw your bag?" "I know I used my money to get the one thing I got here." "I can get it for you." "It's alright! I can't ask you to do that for me!" "You didn't, I ask to do it for you."     "O-oh..." I couldn't help but blush a little. Aaron brought the shirt to the cashier. Gene seemed shocked to see Aaron, while Aaron death stared him down. "Umm.. what c-can I help you with?" Gene was obviously uncomfortable. "Ein!" I turned around to see Elisa. "Elisa?!" She ran up and gave me a hug. Witch I was shocked by. "I'm so glad to see you!" She was way to energized with her words not that that's new but still "who's that?" Aaron asked "Hewo! I'm Elisa!" She said putting her hand out to shake his "can you please try not to be so... cringy...?" I turned around to see Alexander. "Your here too?" I said I couldn't help but smile. "Introduce yourself to this tall black haired guy with Ein!" Elisa said pulling Alexander up to Aaron. Alexander just crossed his Arms and gave Aaron the death stare. "You again?" He didn't seem to happy to see Aaron. "Sorry about the hole... fighting thing." Aaron seemed guilty. "Your just sorry cause I. Kicked. Your. Ass" Alexander seems like a pretty great guy if I do say so myself..

I checked my phone 8:58 "hey Aaron?"     "Yeah?"    "I gotta get going soon."      "That's ok" Aaron handed me his phone number. "What's this for?"    "Just thought we could keep in touch?"     "Aw thanks!" I checked my phone again 8:59 "damn it.. I gotta go Aaron good bye!"      "Good bye?"

9:59 I walked threw the door and my dad was at the door I guess he wasn't joking about locking me out... "sorry. The bus took longer then I expected.."
My dad just pulled me by the hair into the house. "My question is who's money did you use to get the shirt?" He said picking the shirt up out of my HotTopic bag. "I-I-I didn't b-buy it! A-A-Aaron did!"      "Who's Aaron?"     "H-He's my f-friend!"      "How come I never heard of him?"       "I-I didn't t-think y-you wanted to..."        "Is he a werewolf?"      "I'm not sure... he smells like one and I found his sent in werewolf class but besides that I don't have any proof.. h-he says he's not but he sure knows a lot about them for a so called human..."       "What do you mean?"      "While we walked around the mall I asked him a-about..... werewolf's.... a-a-and he told me almost everything about them.."      "What did you actually ask?" "I-I... Umm......" "Answer me brat!" "Uh......" I was to scared to speak. "Why you little!" He dragged me up stairs after he locked the door and threw me onto my bedroom floor. "You'll regret not answering me prat..." I was so scared of what he'd do to me. He grabbed me by the throat and punched me in the stomach over and over and over. After he felt like that was enough he threw me into my night stand witch made me bleed. "DAD PLEASE IM SORRY!!!!" I sat on the floor crying while holding my stomach. He walked closer and grabbed me by my throat again. He threw me against the wall and punched me in the face a few times. "M-MOM!!!!" I called out to my mother. I knew she couldn't hear me. She left a long time ago.... my dad punched me across the face harder when I mentioned my mother and kicked me while I was on the ground. "Don't you EVER!" He picked up a beer bottle and smashed my head with it.

The beer went into the cuts all over my body at this point. Mainly into the one around my eye from when he punched me. I screamed in pain as the alcoholic did its work. My dad left the room spitting one more word into my face "fucking mistake"

After taking a shower and bandaging myself up I called Aaron

"H-hey.. A-Aaron..?"

"Ein? You seem.. upset.. why did you call me instead of one of your parents or close friends?"

"Because. I don't have any close friends I only have my dads and your numbers... and my dad is the reason I'm upset..." I started to cry and sob. "I-I-I know w-we just m-met today b-but.. p-please, I need t-to talk to s-someone"

"Alright.... what's bothering you"

Me and Aaron talked while I laid on my bed. We talked for about two hours.

"Aaron?"

"Yeah Ein?"

"Can you sing me a song?"

"I can't sing you a song but I can play you one."

"That works too"

He started to play a song on what seemed to be a guitar. I yawned and asked

"W-What song is this?"

"Eternity.. why?"

"I like it."

After a few minutes I fell asleep. Peacefully for once...
