Chapter 4 | catching Feelings

I woke up but this time it was different from every other day. Because after I finished my chores and packed my backpack I didn't run out the door despite the bus arriving in an hour I sat down on the couch and texted Aaron

"Hey Aaron!"

"You seem happy. Did you work things out with your dad?"

"Not a single thing..."

"Oh.. then what's gotten you in a good mood?"

"You actually"

"How so?"

"Last night thanks to your song and just straight up voice I had a good sleep. Meaning I have more energy! All thanks to you!"

"Oh... well your welcome."

"Wanna hang out after school?"

"Sure where?"

"Let's go to Starbucks"

"I'm in"

"After Starbucks wanna go to Dairy Queen?"

"It sounds like where planning a date.."

I felt my face turn red and I hid inside my knees before replying.

"That's not the intention... I just wanted to hang out ;-;"

"It's ok. I know it's not an actual date. But why'd you take two minutes to reply?"

"Whatcha mean?"

"Well I just got considered.. did your brother see the text and hurt you or where you just thrown off guard?"

I sigh before replying

"Just thrown off Guard! No worries I'm fine!"

"You promise your telling the truth?"

"I promise."

"Ein!!" I shot up as my soon as I could and turned to my dad. "Y-yes?" I started to shake a little after what happened last night. "Who are you texting?" I calmed down. It was shocking to see he cared "just a friend. Why?" "What's there name?" I don't know why he cared so much about who I was talking to. "Uhmm... Aaron" he grabbed my phone and looked at the texts. I started to get worried. "You two are going on a date?" He looked to be angry. "W-What no!" I couldn't even blush from embarrassment.. fear was the only thing I felt at that moment. "I-IT WAS J-JUST A JOKE!!! I S-SWEAR! W-WHY WOULD I NEED A L-LOVE INTEREST WHEN I H-HAVE AN A-AWESOME DAD R-RIGHT!?" I stuttered out all my words and I was afraid he would hit me but he just handed me my phone back. "your not aloud dating a worthless human. Let alone a boy.. the Alpha female is your only option if you want a lover understand!?" I don't know why I'm surprised... it's expected from him... "understood!" I grabbed my backpack and headed to the bus stop. When I got there I sat down on the bench and started crying while I waited for the school bus.

"My poor baby... what's wrong?" I look up to see Father Frost. His name was actually Sammy J Frost but I called him Father Frost. He lost his only son a few years back and since then treated me like his own. He decided to do this once his daughter wanted to play with the 'boy with the blue' he saw me at the bus stop and decided to take his daughter down to see me. After that day he was more of a father to me then my own dad. "My dads a homophobe... and I think I like this boy..."

"Please continue" Father Frost said sitting down beside me. "What does this boy look like? What's his name? How much do you love him? If you tell me those things in that order I may be able to help"

"W-well.." I wiped my eyes

"He had black hair and sun kissed skin. His eyes are also black... but his eyes have a sort of glisten to it. His name is Aaron..... Aaron has been threw something's. His eyes tell the story for him. He's been heartbroken. He's been abused. He's been over worked and treated like an abject.."
