I got out of bed and walked to the window. The whiteish blue fluff cover at least 2 feet of everything. "Snow!" I yelled. I ran down stairs and rain to the kitchen window. "Dad! Dad come here!" I yelled. My dad slowly made his way down. "What is so important you need to wake me up?" He growled at me. "Dad it's snowing!" I informed him. He walked to the window and looked outside. "I guess it is..." He seemed actually happy. He didn't smile but his eyes said he was happy. "Can we set up the Christmas lights? Oh! Can we put up the tree as well? Maybe we could build a snowman!" He growled at me. I quickly frowned and my ears went down. "S-sorry... I forgot you don't really care about winter that much..." he rolled his eyes before turning away. "Dad." He growled before turning back around and looking at me. "What Ein?" He sounded pissed. "C-can I stay at a friends house during winter? Please?" He sighed before turning. "Do whatever the fuck you need to do as long as you're not here during winter." He replied leaving. I frowned before heading upstairs and getting my stuff ready. I tried to pack warm clothes like sweaters and fluffy clothes in general. I didn't have much warm clothes to be honest. My dad didn't buy me any. He doesn't even let me sleep in the house during winter. He kicks me out and I end up staying at one of my friends. I made sure I had my phone and charger before I got my coat, boots, hat, scarf and mittens on before leaving. I walked down the street until I met the bus stop and made a turn continuing my trip. When I got to my destination I knocked on the door. I heard footsteps before a certain special someone opened the door. "Ein?" Father Frost said with a smile on his face. "Come on in!" I walked into the house. "Thank you Father Frost!" I said smiling. "May I ask why you have a bag with you my snowflake?" I giggled at the nickname he gave me. "My dad does this thing where every winter he kicks me out..." my smile turned into a frown. "So... I wanted to stay here with you during winter... you've been really nice to me so I was hoping you could help me with this." I looked up at him. He smiled sweetly. "Of course. You're always welcome with me." I smiled back. "Now get unpacked. Then come back up. I'm making gingerbread cookies and I would like you to have some" I nodded. I was excited to eat some of his cookies. If he can make sugar cookies so well then I can't wait for his gingerbread ones. "Ein?" I looked at him again. "Yes?" He was putting up some snowflakes around the top of the walls. "Do you have any winter clothes?" He asked me. I shook my head no. "Then I'll make sure to go buy some. Alright?" I smiled. "And one more thing." He handed me two twenty dollar bills. "You can use this to get your friends some presents, Alright?" I nodded before heading down stairs into my room.

I unpacked everything and put my clothes in my drawers. Then I headed out. I was glad I brought my money from babysitting with me. I've been getting two dollars every time I babysit so that's a plus. With the 40 dollars Father Frost gave me I have around 124 dollars. I walked back upstairs with all the money in my wallet I kept inside my satchel. "Ein. Come here. Help me decorate the gingerbread men." I smiled excitedly. "Can I ask Aaron to come help?" Father Frost nodded. I took my phone out of my pocket and texted Aaron.

"Aaron!"

"Ein."

"Wanna come to Father Frost's house to help decorate gingerbread men?"

"Sure. But why are you at Father Frost's house?"

"I'm spending winter here!"

"I see. Be there soon. Can you text me the address?"

"Yeah! Here it's #########"

(I'm not giving you Father Frost's address sorry)

"Alright, be there soon."

"See you soon! Bye Aaron! ❤️"

"Bye Ein 💙"

I put my phone back in my pocket before walking up to Father Frost's dining table. On the table there was icing. There was red, green and white as well as a bunch of Christmas and winter like sprinkles. I started decorating the gingerbread men. I gave them all different expressions. One was shocked, one was angry, one was happy, one was cold. "Hold on." Father Frost said taking the cold gingerbread man. He put a scarf and sweater on the snowman. He used red as the main color and green as the accent. There was a white stripe on the sweater. He put snowflakes in the white part before giving him back. "Now he'll warm up." I giggled at Father Frost and he smiled. I put him on the plate with the rest of the gingerbread men. Aaron soon showed up. "Hello Aaron." Father Frost said after he opened the door. I smiled but continued to decorate the gingerbread men. There were around 20 of them to decorate. Me and Father Frost got threw them all but he put more in after we started. "Hey, Ein." I turned to be met with the dark coloured eyes I fell in love with. I smiled. "Can I help?" He asked, I nodded. "There's a lot more to decorate then just one more on the way so we should get started." He smiled before picking up some icing. "Guess so." I smiled at Aaron before continuing decorating the gingerbread men. Father Frost even helped.

This is going to be a great Christmas.
