Chapter 6 | Hateful Lies

I walked threw the front door and started on my chores. I got until the living room. I always did that one last. Or tried to as much as I can. As I picked up the bottles I can tell my dad was already drunk. He wasn't paying any attention to the TV. He was just staring me down. After I was done all my chores including feeding the rats I went into my room and laid on my bed. And I'm going to tell you right now..

I wish I went with Aaron....

My dad walked into the room the second I laid down. I got off the bed and stood at the side of my bed while he walked closer and closer to me. I felt him stroke my hair and I saw him smile. I don't think I like where this is going.... just as I thought he wouldn't beat me he slapped me across the face causing me to fall down and hold the side of my face.

"Only if you where number one... maybe I wouldn't have to treat you like this." He smiled as he spat those words at me like venom. It was painful. Just to know if I was better he would love me.

He grabbed me by the throat and threw me at the wall. I yelped in pain as I hit the wall. He grabbed me again and pinned me against the wall holding me by the throat.

A hour later I ran out of the house and into the public bus. I texted Aaron

"Aaron?"

"Yes Ein?"

"Can you still hang out?"

"Yeah why?"

"I'll take you up on that offer now."

"Why, whats wrong?"

"I thought you wanted to hang out?"

"I do! But you said you weren't aloud."

"Please... I really need to see you right now."

"Alright."

"Where do you live right now?"

"At Falcon Claw University. I don't think your aloud to be in here...."

"Where should we meet?"

"Is the Park ok?"

"Yeah. I'll meet you there"

After a few minutes I arrived at the park Aaron was already there "Ein!" He said running up to me "what happened?" We walked and sat down near the pond. "What do you mean? I just wanted to hang out!" I was able to put on a convincing act that's for sure. "But you have a black eye and cuts on your face." I can't believe I forgot to clean that up... "your arms are also covered in cuts and bruises." I don't understand how I forgot to hid all of these things....

"I-I...."       "Did someone hurt you?" I didn't know how to respond to that. "No! No! Well y-yes but uh.." I didn't know what I should say... "Ein listen... if someone is hurting you you can tell me..." Aaron hugged me. "A-alright...." Aaron looked at me with a confused look. "I-it's.... it's...."     "Who?"

I couldn't tell him my dad was beating me... I sighed "there's a kid I know..." I saw he was clearly angry "who? What's there name? What do they look like?" I was shocked from all the questions "w-well... he's a werewolf.. and he has brown eyes.. he has your Hair color... and his name is Zack..."      "he sounds really similar to your father. Don't you think?" When he said that I froze. "Ein?" I could hear someone or something. "Ein!?"
