Chapter 29 | Can anyone really love me?

After we finished kissing we just stayed together cuddling. A few hours passed before the sun started setting. "We should start heading back." Aaron said standing up. I nodded in agreement and we headed back to my house. The walk there was quiet, but comfortable. We held hands the entire way there. "Bye Aaron. Love you." He smiled and kissed the top of my head. "I love you too Ein" He smiled and walked away, I walked up to the door. Once I was inside I was met with my dad. "So... where were you?" He asked. I just ignored him and walked upstairs. I washed my face and decided to take a bath as well. I got the water running and stripped down. Once the tub was full I hopped in, I stayed in the hot soapy water for about two minutes. The water was really comfortable and warm. I took a deep shaky breath before I continued to wash myself. Once I was finished I rinsed off and got up. I grabbed a towel from the towel rack and started drying off. Once I was dry enough I walked to my room and got dressed. After I was in my pyjamas I got under my blankets and stared at the roof. The roof was a white color and fairly smooth. A few minutes later my dad walked in. "Where the fuck were you?" He growled. "Stop pretending to care... you just looking for a reason to beat me." I got out of bed. "Just... get it over with... I plan on sleeping tonight and I'm sure you want to sleep as well so the less time this takes the better." I looked down at the floor and gently closed my eyes. I heard foot steps so I gently lifted my head to face my father again. "I'm... not going to." He looked confused and scared... good. I stayed quiet for a few minutes before he started smiling. He gently brushed the side of my face. "Aww... I really thought that would give you false hope." He smacked me across the face, I barely showed any sort of reaction. He pushed me into the wall and continued to kick and beat me. After a while he must've got bored and left. I washed up my face in the bathroom once more before getting back into bed and got comfortable this time. I hugged the unicorn plush Aaron gave me for Christmas. I smiled upon those good memories. And some... other memories from around Christmas. I hid my face in my plush as I felt it get warmer. I calmed down after a little while and drifted off to sleep. In the morning I washed my face and even took a shower. I got into my room and checked the calendar. It's on Friday, today's Thursday. I got in my school uniform and got my backpack. I ordered some food because school doesn't start for another 2 hours. I ordered some cheese pizza, in about 10 minutes Alexander was here again. "Hey Ein." He handed me the food. "Hey, how have you been?" I asked taking it from him and handing him the money. "Pretty good! I can hang around and talk today. We have a lot of staff and it's around my break."
      "As much as I'd love that my dad is home and I don't think he'd want you in the house... how about this weekend? You can bring Elisa and I can call Leo and Gavin to come join us as well." I replied honestly. "Sounds good, see you then." He waved goodbye and left. I took the pizza upstairs into my room and started eating. I didn't realize how empty my stomach was until now... It's been a while since I ate something, hasn't it? I ate about three slices before I decided I was full. I walked downstairs and put the box on the kitchen counter, so if my dad decided he wanted some then he could eat it. I walked back upstairs and washed my face. I decided to go sit down on the couch, and I did. My dad gave me a death glare. "There's pizza on the counter, I originally ordered it for me but there's some left over if you want it. I can bring it to you if you'd like." I informed him. "Sure." Was his response. I got up and grabbed the pizza box before returning and handing it to him, then sitting back on the couch. "You only ate one slice..." I turned to him. "So? That's one more then I normally eat." I replied. I got out my phone and started texting Jax and Ryder.

-Hey guys! What's up?

-Hey Ein! How you doing?

-Pretty good, how 'bout you, Jax?

-Pretty good myself.

-I'm in this group chat too you know:

-Yeah, well respond faster next time.

I laughed a little bit. "Who are you texting?" Why is my dad suddenly so interested in my life? "My friends." I replied bluntly. "Is it Aaron?" He growled. I shook my head no. "It's Jax and Ryder." I replied.

-Hi Ryder!

-Sup Ein

-Can you write properly please?

-Whatcha mean?

-He means you write like a dog.

-Hey! I'm not a dog!

-You sure?

-Fight me bitch, I'll kick your ass!

-You kiss his ass.

-Ryder, you can't even open a door correctly. What makes you think you can fight Ein?

-For the last time I didn't know it was a window! It wasn't my fault.

I laughed once again.

-Anyways School starts soon. We should get going.

I got off my phone and headed to the bus. Once I was at school I could feel... something.... something was going to go wrong today. Something really bad is gonna happen, but I'll be fine. I can't get any worse then I am... right? Right. Nothing can make my life worse then it already is today! Nothing at all.
