Y'all!!! I totally forgot about this book. Why? Because it has no engagements whatsoever. No votes, no comments, no reads etc.

I'm setting a personal comments and votes goal for my next update, after this update if we don't reach that goal, I'm not updating again. 😄😄 how about that? Until we reach that very goal, I won't be updating again.

I appreciate y'all but I can't keep updating if basically no one cares about it. 🥺❤️

Chapter 4
Iram's POV

The next day, I had another 8am lecture and I had to wake up extra early seeing as I would be riding together with Saif and Sa'ad. Saif woke up in one of his moods and he's not letting Saliha touch him, he would only allow me to bathe him and give him food. That took too much time but there was nothing I could do about it. After I was done getting him ready, I gave him his breakfast and quickly hopped in the shower too.

After a quick shower, I stepped out and grabbed the first bodycon I put my hands on and paired it with a matching kimono. There was no way I'd be able to get ready the way I wanted to, all thanks to Saif! But he was just a kid, he was bound to have his moments.

I came out to the living room in my side and shouted his name but he was nowhere to be found. "Oh God." I murmured to myself as I unlocked my phone and called Sa'ad from the call log. "Is Saif out already?" I asked without greeting him and he told me no.

He must be with Mammy then! Good, because that was my last stop everyday before I leave the house. Upon arriving at her room, I saw her night nurse getting ready to leave and I greeted her and thanked her for her kindness. Mammy is seated with her legs stretched on the couch and Saif was sitting beside her on her wheelchair while he laid his head on her laps. I shook my head as I moved to them, Mammy looked fresh and nice too this morning, this particular night nurse did her job well.

I greeted Mammy as I placed my hands under Saif's arm and took him right out of the wheelchair, he was big even for his age but with the way he was acting this morning, I had to put in extra efforts to get him to cooperate. "Mammy, we're late this morning! I'll miss you, bye." I said to her and she'd definitely forget all this before I came back but she still smiled nevertheless and waved goodbye to us, while she picked up the remote and turned on the TV.

She looked better and more energetic than she did yesterday and that was a relief because I would lose my mind if she continued deteriorating right in front of my eyes.

"Assalamu Alaikum." I said with a heavy breath as I approached the Prado Sa'ad was leaning against with a heavy Saif still pouting and hiding his face in the crook of my neck, I'm sure I have beads of sweat on my forehead. "I'm so sorry, Saif was in a mood and-"

"Uncle Sa'ad." Saif shouted as soon as he saw Sa'ad and I stood their dumbfounded as Sa'ad took him effortlessly out of my arms and placed him right in the front seat! The front seat I wasn't allowed to seat in. Huh!

"Saifullah!" Sa'ad answered him jovially and I rolled my eyes.

"Dama hausawa sunce ido wa ka raina." I was really annoyed but Sa'ad only smiled, revealing his dimples before closing the door.

"Don't be like that." He told me as he reached to open my door but I quickly stepped in front of him.

"I can open my own door." I told him and he stared at me for a moment before rounding the car and getting into the driver's seat. We mounted the car together and closed it as he started driving to Saif's school in Apo, he had to put the address in Google Maps of his phone as he conversed easily with Saif. He asked Saif about his friends and about his schoolwork.
