She ran to keep up with Uncle Vernon, and then took her seat in the car.

"Why are you crying girl? You should be happy that your wretched brother's gone" Uncle Vernon said with a wicked smile growing on his face.

Normally in situations like this Emberly would talk back but she wasn't feeling like it.

"Girl I'm talking to you." Uncle Vernon said. He didn't like to be ignored.

"If you must know I'm going to miss my "wretched" brother," she said and looked out the window. She didn't care what they had to say to her. She just missed her brother.

After a long drive, they finally arrived at Number 4 Privet Drive. Immediately, as she walked through the door she headed towards her room and lied down. She wanted to cry but nothing came out.

She knew this was going to be a hard few months but she was going to make it through. She was going to be strong for her brother. She was determined to prove to them that she doesn't need someone to protect her all the time.

It was the next day. Emberly was slowly opening her eyes when she spotted a snowy white figure perching at the end of her bed. She rubbed her eyes quickly sitting up.

She smiled. She realized that Harry already sent her a letter. She quickly got out of bed and took the letter from Hedwig. She was about to open the letter when Hedwig rudely peeked ar her hand. She sighed and went towards the closet where she kept a stash of bread. She hoped that owls ate bread since she had no idea what they did eat.

Ever since the incident at the zoo, they sometimes spent more and more time in there room with no food.

She handed Hedwig the ripped bread and she opened the letter.

Dear Emberly,

I can't tell you how much I miss you already. Hogwarts is amazing and I have so much to tell you but I may leave some things for when it's your turn to come with me.

Firstly, I luckily got on the train after you left. I found a family who helped me and I also made a friend, his name is Ron Weasly. He told me so much about the wizarding world like quidditch, and he has confirmed it does include brooms. Also, remember the boy I told you about a few days ago at the tailor shop. Well, I figured out his name, Draco Malfoy. He's another one of those brat kids similar to the kids at our old school, they think they're better than everyone else so I suggest when you come to stay away from him.

Then once we got off the train we road boats across the lake with Hagrid. The view of the castle was amazing and I know for sure you'll love it.

Then it was time for us to get sorted into one of four houses. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. There's also a whole school system where if you do something good you'll earn points for your house and then when you do something bad you'll lose points. Another way to earn points is by playing quidditch for your house. At the end of the year, whichever house has the most points wins the house cup.

You get sorted by a hat that sings a new song at the beginning of each school year. Ron mentioned that sometimes it holds a warning for events that may happen in the school year.

Everyone then formed a line and waited for one of the professors to call your name. It was a while before they called my name and when they did the whole hall went silent. I sat on the stool and waited. I could barely hear what the hat was saying because all that was going on in my mind was to not be placed in Slytherin where Malfoy was placed. Thankfully, I got put with Ron in Gryfindor and this other girl called Hermione who I met on the train.

After the sorting ceremony was finished there was a huge feast and Emberly when I say there was a lot of food I mean it.

Also, do you remember Hargid mentioning Dumbledor? Well, he made a speech at the feast about some of the rules, and then we sang the school song.

We finally headed to our dorms and went to bed. Except for me since I writing you this letter. Em' I already miss you and I can't wait for your response.

Stay strong love,

Harry

She smiled, she was so happy that Harry was having a great time. She then quickly found some paper and quickly wrote down her response. She checked the time which read seven o'clock since classes started at nine for Harry. She hoped Hedwig would make it back in time before Harry left for classes. She tied the letter to her claw and she flew away.

She sighed in happiness as she watched Hedwig fly away in the morning sky. She could tell that this was going to be a great year for Harry but, she would soon have to get ready for school.
