She walked away from the group head held low and not paying attention to where she was going. From her previous crying and cold weather, she soon developed a headache causing her to head home.
Once she got inside she went straight to her room and wrote down her letter to Harry wishing him a great Christmas and not to worry about her. She didn't bother telling him her problems since she knew he was already dealing with a lot of pressure.

Later that evening Aunt Marge arrived. As usual, Emberly didn't leave her room whenever Aunt Marge visited. Her Aunt never liked Harry or Emberly. She always spoke of them as troubled or mistakes. Those words never hurt her in any way but today she felt empty. She felt disappointed. She didn't know why all these feelings were happening but somehow they comforted her. The feelings were negative but, they where comforting.
After a few hours, she finally realized she wasn't going to receive any food as usual. Normally it wouldn't bother her but she hadn't eaten since that morning and, it wasn't much. Also her stash of bread had run out since she kept feeding it to Hedwig.
Emberly then thought of a plan to get food. She would quietly walk in the kitchen, takes some bread and walk out like nothing happend.
As she walked towards the stairs butterflies filled her stomach. One wrong move and she would be punished and would end of with no food that night. Slowly she took a few deep breaths and started down the stairs carefully dodging any of the squeaking parts. She made it to the main floor and slowly walked towards the kitchen door. She slightly opened it and noticed they where all gathered in the living space.
She then noiselessly opened the door and opened walked towards the cupboard where she knew the bread was kept. Everything's going great she thought to herself until she was closing the cupboard door a bit to hard causing it to make a thud noise.
Panic rose in her, her heartbeat increased and, her face started getting hot. Then Footsteps started and got louder as they got closer until they stopped. She was then grabbed by the back of her sweater and was then turned around.
"And what are you doing girl" Uncle Vernon said demandingly.
Emberly felt small in this situation. "I was just getting some bread..."
"You think you can just come down here and take what you want, after everything we've dine for you!"
Emberly was about to argue back when Aunt Marge butted in,
"Oh so you finally got the girl some clothes, doesn't look half bad but she's still a bit skinny," she continued, "say Vernon what school will you be sending her too?"
"Stonewall High, the local comprehensive school like her brother." he lied
"Ahh suits him very well, once he's done there he'll be just like the other kids. At least she doesn't talk back. If they where dropped of at my door step I would've only kept the girl." she said a wicked smile growing on her face
In situations like this Emberly would normally talk back but today, in this moment, she mentally didn't have enough strength.
"Well girl," Uncle Vernon spat, "off to your room.". He then released her from his grip and then she walked away.
Finally reaching the top step she sighed and walked to her room. No meals, no entertainment just her in a small, quiet room.
This was what most of her punishments were like. They didn't yell at her like they did when Harry was here and they didn't make it sound so forceful. I guess you could call it favouritism out of the two Potters.

As the days went on it got harder and harder. she barley ate and to make matters worse Dudley and his gang would come over. They would tease her and taunt her since she couldn't leave her room.
Eventually, Christmas came around, Harry sent her a few treats along with his letter to cheer her up. She also recived an old Christmas dress Aunt Petunia found while going through there storage.
Yous could say that things where going ok, minus the fact that she missed Harry and she was starting to get bored.
Ever since that days she tried to take some bread, she had been living the same routine. Get up, brush her teeth and hair, change clothes, read, draw, read a bit more, receive her one meal, continue reading, write a letter to Harry and go to bed. But as a result by now she's finished the book Harry bought her multiple times.

Overall life was quite boring but, this continued for months except school days until she received a letter from Harry saying something about a stone and Snape.
A/N
Hello lovely humans. I actually did it, I got the chapter out on time but, this isn't my best work. Not because I rushed it but because I didn't know what to write. I find it a bit hard to write without guidelines but I've found a way around it. Anyways enough about me, I wanted to thank every single one of you getting my story over 100 views and I wanted to thank @ariwilde for the follow. Lastly I wanted to inform you of something. Recently I've come up with so many fanfic ideas. They just pop up in my brain during the most random activitys like reading and doing work at school. So if you want to read these in the future I suggest you follow me, only if you want to though. Nevertheless I hope you have an amazing day or night and I'll see you in the next chapter.
