Quick A/N

So in this chapter, I skip ahead a few months so in Harry's most recent letter it will basically summarize what happened during thoughts last few months.

A few months had passed and it's now Christmas break.

The date was December 20, winter break officially started and it made Emberly excited. Even though she never got presents it was a great break from school.

Despite the fact that Uncle Vernon refused to drive her to school she sometimes enjoyed looking at the scenery as she walked, especially when it was winter.

As she finally arrived at Number 4 Privet Drive she opened the door letting a cold breeze into that warm house.

"Get the Post!" someone yelled from the kitchen. She rolled her eyes and picked up the letters left on the floor from the mail slot. As she walked in the kitchen she saw that Dudley was watching the television, Uncle Vernon was reading the previous day's paper, and Aunt Petunia was cooking dinner. Normally by the time she arrived home, it was five o'clock meaning everyone was already settled in and relaxed.

"What took you so long today girl?" Uncle Vernon asked while she dropped the mail on the table.

"I always arrive at home late since we live an hour away from my school and you refuse to drive me, and you can't forget that it was actually snowing" she said trying to not show how annoyed she was.

"Don't give me an attitude girl, you should be grateful you even get an education. But, we have a present for you," he said trying to sound nice but, at the word of present Dudley immediately turned around interested to hear what he had to say.

"Since when do you give me presents. The best thing you've given me is an actual bed."

"Well we've been thinking..." he said ignoring her statement. "That maybe its time you got some actual clothes suited for you rather than Dudleys hand me downs. So we've gotten your aunt's old clothes when she was a kid."

After hearing this statement she froze. This wasn't the best gift but, it was something different. She would finally have clothing suited for her. Even though it was probably to make their reputation look good it was still thoughtful.

"We've left them in your room, no need to thank us." he stated plainly.

She then walked up the stairs and headed into Harrys and her bedroom. She opened the door and was immediately met by a snowy white owl and a stack of clothes on her bed.

She then quickly walked towards Hedwig and opened the letter she knew was from Harry.

Dear Emberly,

I can't believe it's almost been four months since I've seen you. So much has happened and I've been keeping it from you for a long time.

First thing first, if you remember from earlier this year I mentioned a girl named Hermione granger. Well we've been friends for a while now so I told her about you. I completely trust her to not mention it to anyone other than Ron and me so you don't have to worry. I had to since she was getting so suspicious of me sending letters to someone so please don't get mad.

Secondly, Malfoy. He's been getting on my nerves now. He must hate me for something cause I haven't done anything to him. Maybe a grudge against me for not friending him at the beginning of the year but its frustrating. First he bullies Neville for having a Rememberall by throwing it during flying lessons. I did get the Remembrall back by riding my broom however I did get caught by Professeur Mcgonagall. She was a bit mad but she did make me a gryffindor seeker for the quidditch team. Then he challenges me to a fake wizard duel ending up with Ron, Hermione, Neville and I face to face with a large 3 headed dog. In the end we didn't get into trouble for staying out late and we're safe.
