Operation cobra

When Kirra Buse looked up at the towns clock tower one morning and noticed that the hands on the clock had moved for the first time in forever she had to pinch herself to prove that she wasn't dreaming. She had lived in storybrooke for as long as she could remember and not once had the time changed

"Hey, how about that" Kirra hears from behind her and recognised the voice as Dr Hopper.

She turned around with a tight grip on her longboard and noticed the look of shock on the mayor and Dr Hoppers face

"I guess those rusty old innards finally straightened themselves out huh?" Dr Hopper asks with a grin on his face but as the teen looked at the mayors face she could tell that Regina definitely was not enthusiastic about the mysterious change

"Maybe it's a sign" Kirra says with a small grin which causes the mayor to look over at her with an unreadable expression

"Hey how's Henry? He told me yesterday that he had something important to do and I haven't seen him since" Kirra says as she thinks about the young boy who she frequently held up a conversation with whenever she saw him around

"He's fine" Regina said with a scowl on her face which caused the teens eyebrows to raid in mock surprise

"Alright well I gotta go... I've got a shift at granny's and I wouldn't be surprised if she fired me if I'm late again" Kirra says to the two adults to excuse herself and then she quickly threw her board on the ground and scatted off towards the diner.

Kirra shoves the door open and nearly ran into a woman as she ran through the entrance

"I am so sorry" the teen rushes out but when she looks up at the woman her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She had never seen the woman before and there was never new people in stroybrooke

"It's fine" the woman smiled and then noticed the confused look on the girls face so she stuck out her hand towards the teen with a kind smile "I'm Emma Swan, nice to meet you"

Kirra quickly shook the confused look off her face and stuck her hand out with a small smile "I'm Kirra Buse"

"And you're late" they hear and turn to see Granny standing with her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face

"Nooooo. Nahhh what are you talking about" Kirra ranted on and looked around the room in a fake confused way which makes Granny scoff and Emma chuckle a little under her breath "sorry granny"

Kirra quickly walks in and grabs her apron off the bench before wrapping it around her waist quickly and then starting her work

"Hey Kirra wanna walk with me and my mum? I'm telling her about operation Cobra" Henry says with a smile as he noticed the girl riding her skateboard down the street

The girl stops and flicks her board up and walks over to the pair "so your Henry's mum" she asks in surprise and Emma nods "cool" Kirra says quickly

"Wait a second what is operation cobra?" Emma asks in confusion which makes the younger two of the three smile widely

"It's about this turn and the curse on it" Kirra says with a grin. She didn't believe it but she enjoyed listening to Henry tell her all about it. His imagination was wild and free and she loved that about him

"Every single person in this town is a fairy tale character and none of them remember it because they were all sent here by the evil queen and her curse. It's your job to save them" He ty says to her

"Cobra? That had nothing to do with fairytales" Emma says in confusion as they all began to walk around town together

"Exactly. It's a code name" Henry says to her as if it were the most obvious thing in the world which made Kirra chuckle under her breath with a smirk on her face "to throw the queen off the trail"
